Ok wow. This statue is fantastic. Disregard my other posts about the foot not fitting in. I got it just right. For those of you stressing over the cape and how long it'll take to sculpt. Don't worry about it! It took me literally 5 minutes. I was inspired by N3RDGASM's manipulation but had to make a few changes to fit it in my display. He's bigger than I imagined. Weight is fine. Paint is great. Base looks fine to me. Matches well with Ultron's. Easily my favorite villain statue (I own Doom, Red Skull, Ultron and Galactus). Here are some of my cell phone pics!

The cape is so amazing! I hope they adopt that for all capes now, no more sculpted capes!

I actually still prefer sculpted capes. But this is the best fabric one I've dealt with. The wires are very sturdy unlike the ones in Red Skull's jacket.

I just think capes like this would help with the lean issues. If there really are any because of the capes.
I'd, I think it offers a little more exclusivity since every cape is different.

I remember a few weeks ago with the first in hand pic at a trade show or something. Everyone saying he looked terrible. It had me worried. But it seems now this is getting the praise it deserves! Glad most people are liking it! Oh and to add, my art box also came in flawless condition thanks to the foam bumpers on the inside.

Size is better than expected (as is the whole statue), but I still think he should be bulkier. From the pic in the previous page, you can see he's more or less as massive as Cap. I'd expect Doom to be a bit larger than that, the tall base and wide cape also make him look bigger.
Overall very nice, btw. Sculpt is solid.

I think the figure on this Doom is a dramatic improvement over the original. Just the swap out portraits alone make it better IMO. Add the standing pose, the EX gun hand, adjustable cape and hood, and all the little details (added to the leather belt, gun holster, the metal cape holders)....this Doom figure soars above all others. The original PFs base runs circles around the new one but as I've said before, the figure is always what is most important to me. Either way, there's now two 1/4 Doom statues for everyone to choose from. I have the one I want in my collection.

It most certainly does if you take it out of the box and don't futz with it. Out of the box, the hoods opening is too circular and the top of the hood shoots straight up and to a point. He looks amazing at the end of the video.
