I wasn't planning on getting this guy, but with that price I think I'll pull a Suarez and bite on him. Doom looks pretty good to me even with the simple base and the switch out EX gun. My dream Marvel villain display is Doom, Magneto, Kang, and Thanos. Crazy to think that 3/4 may happen by the end of next year.

lol...I think this new Doom looks pretty good but I prefer the mask on the original PF and the LSF.

The pose and sculpt is sheer brilliance on the first. THEN add in the throne and it's detailing. Sorry I still think it it's a better sculpt then any including the LSF...sorry

The LSF takes the mask sculpt detail to another level. Not even the OG can compare.

Don't get me wrong, the first piece is a classic and warrants the price it commands in the secondary market. With that said, the costume of the new PF actually has more detail. There are a lot of little things that have been enhanced with this statue that has me excited and makes this an easy purchase. Sure, sitting on a bad ass throne beats standing on a plain empty plant pot any day, but outside of that I think this PF is well made.

Doom has always been one of my favorites but this is just disappointing.

-The mask doesn't look as menecing as the original
-the should have used a darker green
-don't like the fist pumping left arm
-I couldn't imagine a more boring base
-lame ex

Not a great ex but overall not a bad looking figure. I think the cut/sew will make this stand out.
Almost two feet tall so it should make for a nice display, congrats to all the Doom fans.

This looks skinnier than LSF / doom 1.0 ... hence less menacing
