It seems that the raincoat may come with the regular set based on what Axe mentioned a few pages back. And it seems like people are divided on clean vs. bloody raincoat.

Maybe the best way to cover everyone is clean raincoat is standard and blood splattered coat & sculpt for the DX


I'd like to see him come with his overcoat and briefcase as well. The suit will most likley be different but I'd love to display him in reminiscence of the Al scene. Overcoat, briefcase, knife, gloved hands, FOCUSED man...

As much as I like this expression, I find it limiting to be versatile on display and also Im not sure even Adam could sculpt it spot on right due to its extreme look/expression and a complete lack of being able to reference this from other angles, plus this never appeared in the movie...

It's a great promo pic but it was never a part of a scene. Hence not iconic IMO

Any news what the dx will be and price point are we getting the figure set minus the body?

Hold on man, lets get this green lighted, pricing is much far off... but I will be requesting Denny to maybe raise the price from his current highest of $320 so that he doesnt have to budget this release... I hope most of you are fine with that? Ill see if it can be within $400... with the increase in outfit parts I think the price itself will be a factor and a higher price can help us in terms of quality as well...

But all I will ask is to be patient, Denny himself said that the sculpt will take time. In the meantime does anyone have a Adam/Imaresqd1 Bale sculpt that they can willingly send over to Korea. I will propose Denny to have Adam's sculpt in hand for the best reference of what a 1/6 Bale sculpt should be like... that should help both them and us in terms of speed of getting the sculpt done as well as accuracy.

Ideally, if it ends up being the Paul Allen scene look it should be his suit, suspenders, raincoat and overcoat. Not only does he wear the overcoat in the immediate following scenes, he wears it many other times throughout the movie.

The overcoat looks to be a mix between Neo's and the Joker's. There are parts of the movie where it appears to be wool like the Joker's but thin like Neo's. I have to research it more.

Suits are Valentino and I made a run on google and found some good references for the 'Bateman suit' turns out the shirt has no pockets and its a 3 button suit of an updated 60's style (as per the description)
Im guessing someone who will wear a premium Valentino suit will also wear a premium Overcoat... which I think its wool... just not coarse or weathered but finely padded... the overcoat is clear and well visible in the scene where he goes back to check if the room he killed all the girls was still there (The are you my 2 o clock scene)

I believe there are 2 overcoats used , the begining looks to be navy and the other black. Gotta do some more digging around on it

Everything that Bateman wears is premium THE BOY'S A PIMP!

I knew someone who was very an*l when putting together their perfect Bateman Halloween costume. They said that in thier research, the clear raincoat is Giorgio Armani (but don't quote me. That was his research, not mine). Whoever read the book knows he breaks down his own and many other peoples outfits, and names everything by designer down to the socks
(not that name brands matter to Iminime in replicating things. All we need are proper pics, but just saying)

Ive read the book, but it was long back... I remember the Valentino, Oliver peoples, a lot of those things were ditto on the film but there were a lot of changes to compared to the film. Like he never played Hip to be Square while killing Paul Allen, also it was Paul Owen.. so I dont think the book will be a perfect judgement..

References for the raincoat can be easily got from screen grabs as they clearly show it from all angles in the film and clearly. I know its a vinyl raincoat...

Same here. I really thought The Skipper was going to be my first iminime figure but alas it was a huge swing and a miss.

Bateman will have to really be epic for me to committ 100%.

That sucks dude I guess my expectations weren't that high, so I quite like the look of it. I'm with you on Agent Smith though. He started off as a clear backrunner to Neo, but has managed to come out in front and surprise everyone. I say go for it. What better figure to start out on.

Oh and we need your preferred expression
