I've been preaching about a Kato suit for Bateman since forever. You got a few of those pm's Pop. Let's get it done.

On another note, if anyone wants to work somthing out with buying dx/going half on it let me know. All I want is the knife, the Scowl Sculpt and the Raincoat. You can have the rest.

as far as i know kato is turning down most/all projects at the moment due tohis heavy work load this year. but it's worth a try for sure. i'd be game.

Wowzers! Looking really sharp! This is by far Iminime's strongest reveal so far. Bateman is to Iminime as The Butcher is to Rainman

My only big nit is the knife. They didn't put Global's trademark dotted grip on the handle. Also the shape of the knife looks like a G-17 when it's supposed to be a G-29.

My other small nits are the size of the overcoat (slightly big) and the pant legs are very skinny. I've noticed this on all of their suit pants (Mills, Somerset, Ra's, Smith). It makes the figure look very chicken legged. I think a little more allows more futzing or a body swap to look more natural.


Aside from that this is a huge leap forward for Iminime. The collar is the best that they've done so far. The flap on the back of the raincoat has the right amount of slack. They didn't miss a detail on the outfits as far as design, pockets & buttons. On the raincoat not one seam or detail was left out.

There was no knife shown on the film to be used explicitly and that too in Bateman's hands... the knife therefore is based on the Movie Poster's blade, however keeping the Global Knives shown in the film, the final knife was taken to be a design based on the blade shown on the poster but the handle of the global knife... which it is.
Here I am showing the reference of the knife which was done/edited by me and on which it was based on. It resembles KAI's design with a more handle like the Global's and Blade like the movie poster

as for the length of the coat, the coat he wears in the film is quite long... the bulkiness however is due to the layers and layers of clothes he is wearing underneath each with its own padding. Its something you cant really help at this scale and also its probably the best possible at this price point.

I do have a suggestion to make the coazt look better ina way though... if we make it a non closing coat i.e remove the snaps and make it permanently open (Bateman NEVER buttoned his overcoat in any scene of the film) it can hang and fall along and will fall well naturally with the suit... what say?

Actually Iminime has a 3D sculptor who will be ding prints for them. So they are going to do the accessory expansion pack in a couple of months. I'm sure the nail gun and Walkman will make the cut but I believe they may be open to some other suggestions.

As a result of the 3D printer being on board, Denny says that all the future releases are going to have much better quality accessories

This for sure has to be one of the greatest likeness's they have accomplished, this figure so so stunning, i honestly see all Patrick and no Bruce here they really captured his evil scowl and the screaming face is also a work of art, great work.

Yes Axe we know that you’re not a fan of the G-29. But I'll tell you that Kai got it wrong and Neca got it right (Neca replicated the G-29 shape to a tee). What was seen on the movie poster and what was shown in the movie are two different things. And yes they never actually show that knife in his hand when he kills Al but it's definitely implied. That's why Neca (the only company who made a licensed Bateman) choose that style.

But I know you like the movie poster look so I'll leave it alone and I won't piss on your parade.
