it's up to the mods as to who can join, but WE ultimately decide who is welcome and who isn't. sure, let him stay on as a member, but all of his threads and profile will get dumped on.
sure sounds like we aren't determining who is and isn't welcome here

so, yeah, we have every right to voice our opinions about who should be allowed on here.

Firstly I will ask again that this thread remain civil.

Secondly, no-one is in a position to say they will decide who's profile or threads get 'dumped on'. If you do that, you are simply stirring and are no better than the person concerned.
NEVER personally dump on peoples profiles or threads as this will be looked into and action maybe taken against anyone that does.

Yes everyone is entitle to their opinion but do it in a civil manner, there is no need inflame an already hostile situation.
Thank you

I agree, Recasters should be banned!
Statue Forum bans them. This board shouldn't be any different. Especially, since most of the recasts are SSCs products.

I agree..... And since SIDESHOW is even steppin in now and taking efforts to stop these recasters, that should say that this practice is HEAVILY frowned upon. So I'll say this in a UNIVERSAL language that EVERY country and language will understand....................

NO!!!!!!!!!!

Ignore the recasters and they will simply go away; there is certainly no need to get nasty with them here. Without the possibility of making sales they will leave soon enough.

what sideshow needs to do is somehow mark there pieces that they create. not just numbering but give it a serial number or a hologram code.so we as collectors will see that it's from the company we like and not a rip off. when they do these stickers or holograms. they should do it when they arrive back at the warehouse in california. so the manufactoring company has no idea what is being marked on the pieces. sideshow personally does it. when they inspect and ship.

Yes, exactly some kind of red tape or something, a few months ago i was thinking of the hologram... That wouldn't be so hard now would it?!?!?!?

This is actually a really good idea, even though I am not too worried about coming across a fake.

That's fine that the moderator's choose who can of can't be on the board, but we (the posters) have no right to say who should or should not be on the board.

I don't approve of recasting in general. But, it's not my call. And unless you are the moderator, it's not your's either.

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

So would you rather we remained quiet and have let this ******* recaster do some damage, take some of our money, and then dissapear back into China?

Thansk for doing this Jake and C2099.

This is what he says in his auction:

This is NOT the Original Sideshow Version but 100% Replica from it. It's the same model, same quality but not numbered!

How can he possibly get away with this? It's a forgery and he's admitted it! I don't own one of these, so I don't know what an original is supposed to look like (other than what I've seen on Sideshow's website and pics posted here in this forum). However, should I ever want to buy one of these (and who WOULDN'T want one of these?), what should I look for? The forgery looks fairly impressive, but being unaware of what to look for I (and probably many other people) could be taken by this charade.

Should I look for specific things such as the way its painted, the eyes, the base, the spikes, the dreds, the teeth or what?

Thanks!!
