cost of outsourcing everything to china. We teach them how to make all of these products, get slave labour to do it for us, then complain when they do it on the side. I HATE counterfeit stuff, but also HATE outsourcing

This is why I like Canada Goose coats -- they're still made in Canada aside from the fact that they use real fur which they should stop imo but outsourcing sucks. That Batman bust looks almost passable as real.

I guess they figure some moron will buy it if they can't find the original...however, I see the original on Ebay all the time for a helluva lot less. Greedy idiots. Couldn't this considered copyright infringement since SS has the license?

I've worked with sideshow on some of these knock offs. The reason that eBay won't just pull an auction when joe buyer complains is because it could just be another seller or a hundred other reasons. It takes the actual owner of the rights to make a complaint. So sideshow has to complain to eBay. The best thing you can do if u want to stop these, send the item number or link to sideshow. But given the fact that every day there are between 10 and 250 new knockoffs of sideshow products every day it's a lot of work for sideshow. It would take a staff at sideshow just to combat the knock offs. But now they have a form letter and a relationship with eBay legal so if they get a heads up of a knock off they can send the paperwork to eBay. If anyone wants the contact info of the person I have been working with at sideshow let me know in pm. If u collect sideshow products it's in your best interest to stop the knock offs too, as they devalue the authentic stuff. If you can get the same product for pennies on the dollar, most people go with the cheaper. And when a limited edition gets it's numbers inflated it also devalues it.

its ok to repaint legit item but the listed products r no way legit item repaints ......

Not only have these guys not mentioned that they've recasted an official Sideshow product but the design of the Arc Reactor is awful!!! still, at least they fixed it the right way round
