Red Dead's Liars & Cheats' Horse Races Are Like Road Rash But on Horses

When Rockstar announced that this week's Liars & Cheats DLC was coming with horse-races, I immediately pictured mini-John Marstons racing around the plains in small helmets with chequered tops on. Unfortunately, that's not the case, instead, you're getting Road Rash... on horses.
Supporting up to 8 players, each contest consists of 3 to 5 races in a cup-style tournament format with players getting points depending on where they finish.
Boring, right? Well, how about if you factor in the fact that it'll have mounted combat as well, meaning what we're essentially playing is Road Rash, but on horses. Huzzah!
Races will kick off with a "brief period of calm" before players can finally whip out their weapons and deal some damage.
To make things more interesting, players will have a fixed amount of guns and ammo per race and auto-targeting will be turned off. However, kill your opponent and not only will he respawn with a small time penalty, but you can also pick up his weapons and ammo as you run over his cold, dead corpse.
Can anyone say "hell yeah"?
Red Dead Redemption's Liars & Cheats DLC is out tomorrow for 800 Microsoft Points.
