Red Dead Redemption Upcoming DLC Plans Revealed

Rockstar has today announced its plans for Red Dead Redemption's upcoming DLC following the release of the free 'Outlaws to the End Co-Op Mission Pack' last month.

It looks like there are a few surprises to look forward to, with the 'Legends and Killers Pack' leading the DLC charge at the beginning of August and culminating in the very intriguing sounding 'Undead Nightmare' Pack this autumn.

Legends and Killers will include corresponding challanges for single and multiplayer, 8 classic characters from Red Dead Revolver, a new projectile weapon called 'The Tomahawk' and 9 new multiplayer locations. It'll be out in August for 800 MS Points on the XBL Marketplace.

This will be followed up with the 'Liars and Cheats' Pack, which will incorporate new horse races with mounted combat (as well as associated challenges in both multiplayer and single-player), attack and defend multiplayer challenges, 8 additional MP characters, multiplayer versions of Poker and Liar's Dice and the Explosive Rifle weapon, again for 800 Points. Date TBC.

Then there's the Free Roam pack, which adds new free roam challenges, anti-griefing measures, posse scoring with posse leaderboards, new action areas and defensive placements and more. Price and date also TBC.

Finally, the Undead Nightmare Pack throws zombies into the mix, with 8 undead characters for multiplayer, a brand-new single-player adventure, additional animals unleashed into the world and new dynamic events to encounter, all for 800 MS Points.

Both 'Legends and Killers' and 'Liars and Cheats' will include new achievements, but the others haven't been confirmed for fresh cheevos just yet. It's doubtful that they'll leave out achievements for the other DLC packs however. That'd just be silly.

That's quite a hefty range of DLC to look forward to, we think you'll agree, meaning that we're not quite ready to be riding off into the sunset as the credits roll just yet.

If only Naughty Bear was this good.........

Help, I just got this game from Gamefly a number of days ago (I don't even remember how many...), and I can't stop playing it. I need a Red Dead Intervention.

I even get two games at a time, and poor little ol' Bioshock 2 is collecting dust.

I've tried doing the level up glitch in multiplayer (delete the 1.02 patch, and go in and blast away in hideouts) . . .and man, is it boring, not even worth the time. I guess you've gotta get good at shooting, but man. It seems to defeat the whole purpose.

This is the only game I've bought, actually finished and LOVED in at least 8 years or so. I've bought many that never get anywhere near to being finished because they feel like a chore and are not emotionally engaging to me. Some of these are Batman Arkham Asylum, God of War, Tomb Raider Legend and ESPECIALLY the most garbage "game" I played in years MGS4. ( I LOVE Metal gear 1-3 are my all time favorites but in 4 you move snake for 5 mins and then watch a 45 min incredibly lame, boring and confusing cutscene)

This game is just too good. Great characters a lot of fun, super inventive, beautiful scenery and music. playing it often really relaxed me. It was a great experience playing this game.

Yeah I bought every major GTA and they are sooo repeditive it's not even funny, Vice City was just fun because of the 80's, cool music and fun characters. GTA 4 with those Russian dweebs was horrible. But the concept and freedom is great. It's about time Rockstar tried this concept with another genre, and wild west is one of my all time favorites! Lets hope their film noir one is as good.

Just go back to each store and try to find the map you can buy and that should unlock the last 2.

9,999,999,99 left :hi5:

I bought the map and used it but it didnt unlock any of the two remaining locations :dunno

The map might be at another shop away from West Elizabeth, i can't remember but i know all 94 locations can be unlocked using maps so you have missed one. :(

Instead of going to all 94 locations, you can simply purchase all of the available maps saving a lot of time.

Well, i found one of them. The Bearclaw camp or whatever so i just need one more.
I think i've bought all the maps and used them. But i've found a place that has a map that shows all the locations so i guess i just have to go through all of them.

Thanks for the link, btw :hi5:
