Thats ok. Wouldn't be the first to kill me online. :lol

I thought you had a PS3 anyways?

Well, in the Mexican Standoff....not fair since Ill has an advantage :devil

True but we're all gonna shoot Dee first anyways. :lol

originally I was going to get this for PS3. But for some reason...the game screams "buy me for 360!!!"

I am conflicted.

Yeah, I'm conflicted too. Not sure which system I'll buy for. I guess I'll consult a few of my friends to see if they are picking it up. If not, I'll probably get it for the PS3 unless each system has exclusives.

That might just be wishful thinking. Have store bonuses ever been sold later as DLC? I cannot recall any.

Right off the top of my head, the Gigawatt Blades power-up from Infamous was released as free DLC, I believe that was a Gamestop pre-order bonus. Or just a bonus for pre-orders in general.

The Taxidermist was a pre-order bonus for Heavy Rain, now available for $5.99.

The Weapon X Arena for Wolverine Origins was a Gamestop pre-order bonus, now available for $9.99.

Sooooo yeah, there's precedent ;)

It just makes more business sense. Publishers offer retailers pre-order bonuses to retailers, said retailers order more copies because more customers will order from said stores, then publishers and retailers make more money. Publishers then put pre-order bonus online for a small fee and make even more money from same content.

That's why there is so much DLC, publishers/developers get paid twice for the same content. It's their way of battling Gamestop who get paid twice for the same content, once for the original sale and then the re-sale when it's sold used.

RDR has GOTY written all over it.

I've got it pre-ordered for the 360 at Best Buy, but I'm going to be at Disney World the week it's released. :monkey2
