It's arrived :yess:

However, I put the code in for the Soundtrack, and it said I should have got it in 5mins, but so far nothing :(

I have checked my Spam Folder too, and it will not let me use the code again

Same thing here. I can only guess that we'll get the email code later on, like with the Kratos skin from the slurpee promotion. I'm not too worried about it right now, but if I don't get my download code by the end of next week, I'm going to contact Rockstar. I want that soundtrack, dammit. :gah:

So I played a little more of the single player campaign last night and managed to advance the story a wee bit. I got the stallion from Bonnie and then quickly killed it by accidentally riding off a high cliff *sigh*. Thank god for the warhorse code.

I also dabbled in multiplayer, and I'm having mixed feelings about it.

First off, the multiplayer lobby simply rocks as it's just a free roam mode that covers the entire game world. Found throughout the game world are a number of game modes, like free for all or gangfight, and you simply activate them to enter that particular type of game. If you're part of a posse, the posse leader makes the choice and the posse members follow.

I did some gang hideout missions with various posse members and I probably enjoyed those the most. I always prefer co-op to competitive play, and bringing justice to the wild west with a gang of friends is just awesome. My posse leader eventually got us into a gangfight mode, and I quickly lost interest. It's team-based, and seems to revolve between straight up deathmatches, capture the flag-type games, and other team modes. For whatever reason, however, my posse leader was unable to cancel the mode once selected, so it was impossible to return to free roam without quitting multiplayer and loading it up again.

I also found MP mode to be very glitchy. At one point, my character and mount both disappeared from view. Even worse, the rest of the players were also invisible, and we had to start a team mission before it sorted itself out. My game also froze when I planted explosives at a gang's ammo dump, forcing another reload.

All in all, the MP is pretty fun with a dedicated bunch of players. I'll probably avoid the competitive modes and concentrate on co-op missions until they get the glitches sorted out. I'd also like to snag that viral trophy/achievement at some point.

Feel free to add me to your friends list if you're playing the PS3 version of the game. PSN ID: ElSkutto.

Anybody watch that film in Armadillo on the "Evils of modern medicine" at the church?
Very well done and very amusing.
Hope every town has "films"
Had a tumble weed roll in front of me as I walked to the marshals office...little things like that are the proverbial icing on the cake.
Its weird how the mood changes for alot of sequences depending on the time of day.

Has anybody been able to get their Golden Guns code from Amazon to work? I tried again yesterday and nothing. :(

Yeah, finally got mine to work last night. It helps out quite a bit as most kills get you fame now. Even on animals.

I watched it and it gives you a mission I believe. Cause you have a dealing with the subject of that video. I think each film if there is a different one will have a mission.

The latter stages of the Master Hunter Challenges in Red Dead Redemption will put you on the track of certain rare animals, ravenous beasts with a hunger for man-flesh. Don’t waste time combing the entire gameworld — avail yourself of our hunter’s guide, after the jump.

Khan the Jaguar – Located in the Ojo Del Diablo hills area south of Chuparosa, south of the road. Use bait if you have difficulty finding him, but don’t bother with your knife — just bust a cap in him.

Lobo the Wolf – Located near the Eastern edge of the Aurora Basin lake, Northwest of Tall Trees. Use bait/gun, as above.

Gordo the Boar – Located in the Stillwater Creek area, north of the road, south of the River, and Southwest of Thieves’ Landing. Bait, gun, etc.

Brumas the Bear – Located in the Nekoti Rock area. Lives in a cave at the top of a mountain, Northeast of the Aurora Basin lake. Shoot him and take his pelt to complete the Master Hunter Level 10 challenge.

WTF. My copy has frozen. Just accepted a dual outside the bar at Armadillo and it froze. This game is great but buggy as hell.

I've been meaning to check out the film, I'll do that today.

As for the tumbleweed, one rolled by me yesterday and I was like, "wow that's cool". What made my jaw drop though was when I was talking to a guy in a graveyard, it started to rain and thunder/lightning like crazy. I looks up and you could see the clouds light up so realistically, it was beautiful.

Single player > Multi player
Single Player = Playing with my bros

The movie in this movie house if freaking hilarious...I like the guy who just started humping a tree for no reason :lol Maybe I missed it, but I didn't get a mission after watching it :huh

Multiplayer is fun, but that double-barrell shotgun is just monsterous and taking people down :lecture

Going to play it again tonight when I get home from work
