So youre not going to pick it up again when the inevitable expansion comes out and all the dlc hits?
Buh bye
:wave

I think this was one worth buying imo.

Hey Spartan, I was just playing and noticed another American Appetites blip. Went and had a look, and it turns out there's a cannibal up there, hence the 'American Appetites' title. I killed him, and it said I completed the Strangers task, even though it said failed before. :dunno

Interesting.
I went ahead and replayed it up the point that it wanted me too, just so they could play the cut scene and make a decision for good or bad
within the games "timing" rather than my "timing."
Apparently preempting cut scenes is verboten in Rockstar games.
They shouldnt tip there hand so early to who the real bad guy is then.
Bad resolution to that mission.
The wife shouldve just said who the hubby's name is.
Then Id ask "Which of you is so and so...?"
Then Id either have the option of taking the cannibal to the marshall or dealing out justice on the spot.
They made Marston look like a buffoon in the cut scene and seemed out of place given the story thus far.

I cant stop playing this game.

I had to do a saving some lady mission, got there 4 guys and the lady on the rope.

dead eye all 4 guys, rope Boom mission done.

Fantastic.

love capturing bandits alive.

game of the year for sure.

Beware getting in a gun fight with someone hogtied on your horse.
That "alive" bounty might get downgraded to the the "dead" price.:slap

But Marshall he was alive when I captured him.
:lol

does playing with the bandana on affect both good and bad deeds or just the bad ones? yesterday i took on a mission to capture or kill some guy who had stolen money from a store and after i completed the mission i didnt get any + on fame or honor, of course i had forgotten to take off my bandana. :slap

Yeah that happened to me so i guess it's best to try and out run them.

I'm only about 15% but i'm just clearing some of the challenges which is fun. This game is amazing and will be eating all my spare time. :rock

I love this game! I got Alan Wake and have Mario Galaxy 2 on the way but all I want to play is this.

I love to take bounty missions, hunt the target, kill his cronies, chase him down and bring him in alive. I'm the Boba Fett of the west!

So I hit 100% in single player last night.

The funny thing is, I used 4 days of vacation/paid time off at work (giving me Tue-Fri plus today and tomorrow as my normal weekend) and playing RDR was a lot more grueling than work, plus I put in more hours in my 4 day period than I do working a 5-day week full-time. My official gametime for 100% is right around 40 hours and I'm pretty sure that you could add another 4 or 6 hours to time not counted when you die and get kicked back to your last save.

It's not that it wasn't fun (I wouldn't have spent the time on it if I didn't love the game) but it was just intense.

So yeah, I had almost no knowledge of what was going on in the world around me for like 4 days. If I'd woken up today to see gorillas running around on horseback with rifles it wouldn't have surprised me.

I'm really loving this game. I haven't really played a game like it before but is everyone else's so glitchy? When I first started it I tries jumping on the roof of the MacFarlane barn only to just jump straight through it. Also, I've just had to reset my console in the middle of a mission. I was trying the charriot race mission and there was a glitch where horses wouldn't move they just started to run in place. I reloaded and they still did not move.

Anyone else having these problems?

It's just the nature of these sand-box style games. I'd assume the randomness programmed into the game makes it prone to glitches.

I saw a guy who was riding his horse, but he was halfway into the ground, it looked like he was stuck in quicksand. I tried to lasso him out, but it wouldn't stick.
