Saved a guy from 2 cougars out in the middle of no where.
He thanks me, gives me $5 (sez its all he's got) he starts to walk off, I turn away from him to cont. hunting.
Then I hear a scream, I turn and see he's dead on the ground, wtf?
Nothing is around, so I walk towards him to get a closer look. Just as I reach him, "BAP!" Rattlesnake bite.
He was killed by a snake bite!
I lived but the snake didnt make its usual warning rattle.
Wild.
I also luted the dead body of the guy and lo and behold he still had $7!!
Not as grateful as he proclaimed.
Got what he deserved.
Have you guys tried that cheat that cycles the weather to your liking?

Yeah, those rattlesnakes are sneaky!
The first time I ran into one, my horse nearly stepped on it, and rared back! I shot it and skinned it. The second time I was picking some flowers and running back to my horse, and got bit. I heard John Marston say something like "I better watch out for those things"! I shot and skinned that one too. But like you, I didn't hear the trademark rattlesnake sound that second time when I was on foot. So always keep a sharp eye out for them...anywhere!

I haven't heard anything about it yet. Are you talking about it on the Playstation 3 or the Xbox 360? I have the Xbox 360.

It's a cheat that you can either unlock via the R* Social Club, or by entering it manually into the cheats menu.

Be careful when using cheats. Many Rockstar games punish you for using them by preventing you from saving your game, or from unlocking achievements/trophies. Sometimes, those effects are permanent, so I'd advise using cheats only after completing the single-player campaign.
Also, cheating is bad, mmmkay?

And their "workaround" solution is total crap. I have to start a new game from scratch and hope his bounty shows up? No thanks. I'll be damned if I have to do those stupid horse races over again.
I haven't used any of the cheats yet, I'm waiting until I finish the game first. And yeah, you can't save while using cheats in RDR.

Finally got to 100% last night! Not as difficult as GTA IV, but still very satisfying. I love this game more than words can describe.

I finished the game last night. Can I just say that I loved the music in this game.
..that song that played was wonderful. I raced all the way home!
And then the last song during the credits. I cried. Yes, I cried. I would have preferred a different ending....but will say that this one does really grip you.
I did manage to get the Legend of the West outfit. Man, that last sharpshooter challenge was a pain in the ass.
I have to be honest though and say that in my opinion, ME2 beats this game by a hair.
Wonder if they will do a sequel...
?
