Long time since last update!!

Very sorry for dealy to all customers who ordered the sculpt

Had a call today and the 1st batch of heads are being done.

Will get a better pic once in hand.

All sales have been stopped, but I have casted more and will offer for sale on a later date.

I'm afraid I still don't have mine so I do think theres quite a few that still haven't been put out yet.
Funnily enough I sent abc express an email last night regarding the figure.

I just got a message regarding the brothers production Vincent figure.
Apparently it wont be ready until december now because they are trying to make it perfect...

it seems very dodgy to me that they would delay like this. i think breakersrevenge may be onto something here about them recasting heads, or stealing ideas. it's not as far fetched as it sounds.

Wai is only making a hand full so hopefully they wont get one to recast, but then again they always do

It is dodgy because they did not hold off on releasing Mila, Dirty Harry or Blade Runner even though they were not perfect. I do not blame anyone for holding off one bit.

it's even more suspicious as they only announced several weeks after wai did. enough time to whip up something quick and advertise it. maybe they're not doing anything funny at all, but just waiting for wai's set so they can check out what's included. but like you said, i don't remember them delaying before.

toysadventurer, i'm not sure on this, would have to check. they certainly wouldn't cast HT or enterbay heads for their figures as these guys would sue the pants off them. but since wai's is a small operation and not officially licensed, i'm sure they're willing to take their chances thinking wai wouldn't be able to take any legal action.

i hope it's all conjecture anyway, and there will actually be 2 vincent figures out there. this hobby certainly doesn't need companies that recast the heads of small start out operations like wai man's.

As far as I know they've never recasted anything so far and personally I doubt thats what they're up to. Surely after only being around for the short time they have been they wouldn't do something like that would they ?.
Ecspecially if they know the key market their selling too know most of the small sellers they would be recasting work from.

If this is the case though it does well and truly suck. Only time will tell I suppose.

I don't suppose any of the order receipts are from a brothers_production ?.

It seems as if there going to make a V2 though the way abc express are telling me. What they basically said was that they are improving it.
