This would be a duplicate I'd rather nab from Hastings at one of their discount rates. With the money you'll spend picking up all the parts, it's probably fractionally cheaper than picking the whole figure up during Hastings' discount sales.

That's what I'm hoping for. I'll keep my exclusive order from Sideshow, but hopefully i can pick up a reg from Hastings.

I am actually really burnt out on the idea of ninjas. They have pereated nearly every aspect of entertainment with their foul stench.

But they look freakin' cool! And I hope Sideshow gets on the stick right away with a black one!

it's the weapons, man. gotta love ninja weapons. wish this guy had a decent hand for holding the sais the right way instead of being forced to hold them like a sword.

Yeah Hollywood's idea of what a ninja is is nothing like what ninjas really were like, especially in the Joe universe where they are just ridiculous to the point of absurdity. When they turned a really cool and mysterious character like Snake Eyes into a commando/ninja with more weapons and swords than an arsenal it got ridiculous. I liked Snake Eyes better when he was just a Commando. By the time we got to v.3 I was out.

I'll be honest I almost cancled my red ninja, but then after looking him over again I couldnt do it and the alt. head is just to much for me to pass up. He kicks so much ass, definetly keeping him.

I see no need to cancel this awesome figure. Those that do will be kicking themselves as usual once he is released.

i forgot i got mine coming free with rewards. i'm thinking of getting another one now. hmmm.....

I actually have two coming. Both sculpts are really different enough for me to want to have two. Maybe cause its a ninja thing that I like.

got my ex on order and like i said hope to find a second set of the clothing and arm/leg guards from toy anxiety because there are plenty of spare parts to make a 2nd figure without having to buy a second one.
2nd head
2nd set of feet
plenty of hands
plenty of weapons
plus the black sash from Stormshadow

if I can't get the suit from TA i'll just have a naked ninja...:lol

I agree that hands to hold the sai in their traditional manner would be really cool. Alas.

By the time you get the body, arm/leg guards and the outfit, you might as well just order a second. :huh

like I said before it depends on the price from TA. If I can get the outfit and guards for $35, and a generic prometheus body for $12 (or better yet use the extra one I already have from replacing some of my other figures with True Types), plus say $5 shipping, I don't think $40-52 shipped is the same price as $130 shipped. But I'm only an accountant, what do I know. ;)

To me saving the $80 or so is more than worth giving up 10 extra hands, 4 extra feet, a third head and a miriad of duplicate weapons I'd never use if I bought 2 complete figures.

That said, if TA for some reason charges $80 for the stuff I need, then its a different story.

That's a GC or Hastings discount though too. Not saying order 2 through sideshow. I'll be ordering the Ex and then likely picking up a second elsewhere.

Not being a WalMart shopper, I'll likely pick up a second through TA, VP or MD and consider a third if Hastings has these knocked down to trailer park prices.

lol, fair enough. Was just checking since it seems that people are counting on these to go that low on Hastings.

Honestly, only a fool would count on Hastings to discount a figure they really want. Hastings is great for finding awesome deals on duplicates or a figure you had a passing interest in, but there are absolutely no guarantees going that route.
