Also consider character popularity, as great as she looks not as popular and widely known as the Conan character, and even for the ones that know of her once you hit the $350 to $400 mark people are going to start wondering if its worth getting, of course not the case for everyone.

She's cool but no Marvel/DC which has a huge fan base.

Well said; Ish, I do agree with your points in your statement but to the uninformed as to who she is, she is just another Sexy Character and soon to be Sexy Statue and to the followers of her Tales of High Adventure, she is a Must Have Acquisition.
I do agree with Collector, the Fan base is just not as Extensive as Marvel/DC.
In ending, which I generally do not like to speculate, I think you are in the Ball Park as far as Price goes.

I think the Pacific Rim statues are that price because of the license actually. They are all quite expensive despite their size.

And by this I mean that the license itself was probably expensive. They had the director watch over the project too. That level of hands on interaction probably cost Sideshow a pretty penny. Hell it was advertised in the movie

???? I'm sorry is no one else supposed to have an opinion? If you're okay to pay ridiculous prices for statues that dont warrant it then go ahead, your prerogative. Maybe you should be in a thread for Gentle Giant, Medicom or Play Arts? I personally would not and dont think anyone else should either.

@ Monger: And I doubt that the Pacific Rim license cost any more because other companies are also doing Pacific Rim related products, it isn't in demand like you think it may be as well. It probably has more to do with Sideshow designing a lot of it using their artists and the movie's production crew. Also the fact that they have Guillermo's name tied into it so they THINK they can charge these prices based on that.
