I think it'll be close. It'll never be this...this is like, a professional who would cost hundreds to do a repaint with. But as I've mentioned time and time again, Sideshow has been really doing well lately! Lobo, Batgirl, Machiko...those are all looking like homeruns, even in the paint department! Machiko's armor is fantastic looking!
I don't think it'll be flawless, but I think we'll get a fantastic representation of Red Sonja from it. I think it'll be closer to this than the first PF was to the first one, mainly due to this one having a darker skin tone to begin with!

So many little details too! I hope that the ring on her side pushing into her skin remains in the final sculpt! That's awesome.Thanks, glad to be of service. I was blown away when I saw this and snapped as many quickie pics as I could while trying not to appear too overly obsessed!

Aw, I know that creepy feeling when at a Con.
I'll buy art from a lot of artists that draw like J. Scott Campbell, and I'll just debate for 30 minutes about which to get, and I'm just staring at these pictures of half naked cartoon women. It's not like you're even thinking on a perverted level at ALL, and yet, you feel that's how people are viewing you. In the end, these are the best pictures so far, so you gone, done good!! Getting focused, high quality, up close pictures is what we NOT at SDCC hope for the most! These will quickly find their way around the Internet, you can trust me there.
Thanks again! Oh, and nobody will think you're creepy either. It's all in our heads...so be sure to enjoy yourself if you're heading back tomorrow, and take as many pictures as you want of whatever you want. Take your time, and enjoy. Nobody will think you're overly obsessed unless you start licking the glass.

Guess I'm odd man out. Just really not into the guts on the base, some might be into that sort of thing just personally I find it distracting. Also don't much like her face, she looks sleepy to me. Pose/Armor/Body all look great. Didn't think I'd be saying this earlier today but this ones an easy pass for me. My wallet gets a much needed break.

lol. XM has some good things going for them but their face sculpts and fce paint apps are terrible. This is on a whole other level.

No, no, no! Let this be the end of it! No XM Vs. Sideshow...let's just enjoy the awesomeness that is this Red Sonja sculpt and wait for even more pictures and vids!!
After those last HD shots, I really want this to go up for PO sooner than later. Like most things I order, I just want to set it and forget it! I'd rather not eagerly anticipate for two more months.

This was NICE. The only thing is I worry about the paint on the production pieces. I was pretty floored when I saw the proto for the first RS and the in hand pics were quite....flacid. If this can come close to proto, it will be EPIC. LOOK AT THAT FREAKIN BASE!!!!
