That is exactly what Bale is trying to achieve, and he has succeeded. He truly admires his craft to go to these extremes time after time again. Bale is the man.
I agree. Surprised he was willing to 'go there' again.

I've said it before but the only way I can say it is that most actors play a role or character with greatness but Bale becomes the character or role.

Good lord...Master Bruce? Looks more like Seth Rogan (fat version).
I think it's more of Bale altering the way he looks for a role so that he doesn't always look the same. He's creating a character visually.

Meh..he does not look really all that "fat" there..a bit chubby maybe..still thin-ish.
I agree. He's just full in the face and that could be because of the awful facial hair or the way he's holding his head. Looks good to me!

yeah he said that when they told him to bulk up for Batman he came in looking like a grissly bear and they told him he's too bulky so he had to tone down and define his build.
