Havent updated in awhile.
Was able to get a 1/6 harley fatboy on ebay. Its actually a phone that I detached from the base to use for my T800. Got a great deal too, best $10 mod (shipped) ever!!!

Totally understandable Chigs, I'm in the same boat. Initially, I wanted to collect just few statues and then mostly 1/6 but just late last year, I was looking at my collection and thought I was pretty much done.
Then BAM!!! HT announces 89 Batman, Thor, Captain America, RE alice, DX Sparrow, etc and not to mention the few customs that I'm interested at.
I was looking at my display case and was like..., where the hell do I put all this. So I was just waiting to see what the DX looks like before I was gonna sell my PF just to make sure cause I wasnt too fond of the previous HT Jack, but since its magnificent, I thought I guess I can go ahead and sell it. Only problem is trying to let go, lol...I keep telling myself for a couple of days now to go and and box it up and I'm having a hard time.

Yeah it was hard to package up my Classic IM and Mystique as well. Such great pieces, but again, not where my full interest lies for my collection.

The stuff they keep coming out with will always have me collecting. The licenses you mentioned above have my money waiting to be spent on them as well. Not to mention that if they ever dip into Kill Bill, Conan, or the Matrix I'm going to be in even deeper!

The craziest thing about HT's for me is that I can be interested in a figure even if I'm not in love with the license. For instance the new Sweeney Todd figure. I've never seen the movie but it looks really great, of course! Not a purchase for me from day one like the Sparrow or a Batman but still interested. If Sideshow would have done a PF of it....zero interest, probably wouldn't have even looked at the promo pics.

yeah Mags and soon all of us are going to have to go up our walls with Coco shelves to get everything to fit too!

Really admire those shelves in your collection. I just don't have the wall space...

The funny thing with the HT Sweeney is that originally, I wasn't gonna get it. Im even trying to get rid of my medi. Its actually a great figure once it's repainted. Although I love the movie, since I'm trying to consolidate my figures, I was gonna try to narrow it down to just very iconic characters or ultimately personal favorite characters. Since Sweeney wasn't really blockbuster, I boxed up my Sweeney and was gonna try to sell it before HT unveiled their figure, and now that they have, I think I'm gonna have to get it. Should have sold my medi tho cause now its gonna be hard to sell it.

Damn hot toys tho, and thank goodness for ramen noodles.

Updated my IM Mark 3 to Mark 4. Took me awhile to get one of these cause I didnt think it would be a huge upgrade. WRONG! The most surprising thing is that it makes the Mark 3 look cheap.
Mark 3 is back in his box now. I like this armor so much I snagged a partial set which pretty much includes all the armor with hands. I'm gonna use that one to display an unmasked Robert Downey IM.

I cant wait to get HT Thor and Captain America. I'm gonna do an Avenger Scene.

I know, the movie is coming out in months and still no preview. C'mon HT.
Oh, he he, I like this armor so much I bought a loose Mark 4 that has the complete armor with a set of hands so I can display another one with the Robert Downey head.

Congrats man! The Mark IV ='s Toy Collecting Ecstasy!

It was my first IM figure and I've enjoyed it so much that it made me order a VI and V. I'm not 100% sure I'm keeping the VI as it's so similar to the IV but the V looks top notch as well and I love the silver and red.

Its weird how on pics he doesnt look bulky but he is, so its cool cause it does now look like a person can can fit in it. The mark 3 looks so skinny compared to mark 4.
I've read this several times on the Mark 4 thread but it just didnt appear that way in pics that I thought it was more of an excitement exagerration on the owner's part.
I love the shiny armor.

I got in on 1/6 pretty late so I missed all the armors from the first film. It was a good thing and a bad thing (no Mark I or II). It's just crazy to see the IV next to a III though. Completely blows the III out of the water.

How many Cap's are you going to be interested in? For me, I'm kind of only looking for a modern day version. I'm afraid however that the WWII version will sway me into a purchase.

The Thor I like so far, but I've never been a Thor fan really,...hated him in the comics back in the day when I was collecting. I kind of want to put them all together, but I might go with 2 Cap's instead.

Im definitely getting this movie version, it would be a day 1 purchase as it's a good representation of ultimates Cap.
But of course, I said the same thing about ironman, lol.
Just depends on the look. If the difference is like mark 4 to 6, then I'll be happy to stick with just the ww2 version.
I could have bought mark 6, but I really love the design of 4 so I stuck with it.
I think Thor is gonna be an amazing movie and I think it will be in the same vein as ironman.
I think Cap tho will be marvel's batman.

I think this is my favorite now.
I've been trying to get a hold of this sculpt for a long time and regret for missing out. It always seem like I'm one step back everytime this is available as either its already sold, or its way too expensive. I re-read the the Rainman v1 thread several times and always regret for missing this. I've pleaded with Zuno and with Rainman himself to see if there's any available but alas, no luck. That is why it is limited version. Aside from lalla's v1, my favorite is the one painted by boot25. a couple of weeks ago, I check the "for sale" thread and lo and behold...it was for sale!!! I was literally fumbling to type to IM that I want it. Thanks to that fellow board member, I finally have this elusive sculpt. This is seriously a thing of beauty, As a huge fan of Hot Toys, I've always held their paintjob as the standard for customs to measure to and this surpasses it. Would definitely love to have a few more figures painted by boot25.

currently, I'm waiting on this custom shirt to arrive and then there's also a custom Oliver People's OP 523 Red shades currently in progress.
