A few more pedestal with "unfutzed" Belloq...

:D

Oh man, that shot is just hilarious :rotfl

Its too bad the pedestal wasn't offered as an environment. Seemed the more logical way to go to me. :dunno

I would agree but I guess the way SideShow sees it, they forced people to buy there Belloq this way. Even if there were a lot of cancellations there would be even more if they didn't include the environment.

From what I recall, another company had the rights to indy environments. Sideshow just found a way around that. That is why this is a accessory to a figure.

That's what I've hear, and given the pieces Sideshow's done in the Star Wars line, I'm sure it was something political and not trying to help Belloq sell better, if they didn't think he'd sell alone they probably wouldn't make him at all. I'm sure this was a workaround to legal matters of the license or something to that effect.

Futzing in progress. He's looking better, of course.

I must say, the gun is nice. Working slide too. Also, the wine bottle (his own label) and the watch are top notch.

Not sure why we get two fists with him as well. I would have preferred an alternate tie (the solid gray one that goes with the machine gun) and an alternate ice blue shirt.

Uno mas...

OK, first futz done:

I got the pants to look OK. Shirt collar too. The jacket IS the problem. It's too tight. Won't close without tweaking the whole jacket. Snap shows no matter what. I'm going to have to remove the snap and try to replace it lower where there's more give. Still not sure it will look right. Either that or I leave the jacket open... which I may do, and dump the tie too.

Either the PRO is too short or the head is too big... which is it?

I think its an optical illusion. Look at the eyeline and then the angle of the table and feet. See the bend?

Anyway, in hand I don't have an issue with a bobblehead. Looks fine. There are other more pertinent problems.

The pants are very high-waisted, so they either ride too high or the crotch hangs too low. The Pro's hips are tough to position the pants on just right. It's gonna take some work. Also, if you could just close the damn jacket, it wouldn't be an issue. Perhaps its only my jacket that won't close?

I'm curious to hear if others have problems with the jacket -- if not, I'm asking SS for a nother one that fits.

All that said, I think in the end he'll look good...just got to find that right futz. And take care of the snap. But I'll wait to hear from some of the others who have received the figure before I cut the snap off.

Not a bad looking figure. I'd like to see some pics of the jacket closed.

My biggest problem is that I would have NO idea who it's supposed to be. Who wants a figure in their collection that makes every guest coming by ask who the figure is?

Yeah, he really does come out looking too generic. Ceremonial robes would have been the better call IMO.

The pro body looks pretty good in those shots, if they can keep it consistent they should have a winner on their hands.

I think he looks great! Just like the proto!

It is odd about the jacket not closing, though. But it looks like there is still a little bit of fabric before the edge of the jacket that you can shift the button to the right.

The tie looks weirdly short, but I guess it's meant to be covered by the closed jacket.

Looking forward to getting mine next week...
