Its pretty easy to do a full TV season of Resident Evil. Easy.
It wont work via Videogame...one night method.
You can do the first 6 episodes or more showing the characters background, as STARS before the mansion outbreak.
In the meantime, you can also start seeing slow outbreak in the mansion.
The stuff that we find in the game that explains what's going on...show those. Like the guy writing the itchy...tasty...itchy...stuff.
They can show show all these behind the scenes notes that we find during the game.
In the meantime, you can have the drama going on with all the characters, so you can have get to know more about them.
episode 8 and up...crap hits the fan, and that's when the STARS are sent to the Mansion.
The stuff in Resident Evil happens in one night...but that's the videogame...in real life...this really should have been several days.
Just like Arkham Knight, where Batman fights Poison Ivy, Riddler, Penguin, Tests Azrael, fights Scarecrow, etc. All in one night.
Not really possible, but only possible cause the videogame says so.
Resident Evil is kinda the same...so many things you have to do...but the game only tells you that its supposed to be one night.
Make the changes in the TV show and make it realistic and make it a span of several days.
The ending of the Season, shows Chris and Jill making it to safety blowing up the mansion and fleeing via helicopter.
Epilogue...Brief shots of Leon getting ready for his first day...gets on his Jeep and a shot of him passing "Entering Racoon City"...
Brief shots of Claire looking at a picture of Chris...gets on motorcycle...rides her motorcycle...passes the same "entering Racoon city"
Then a quick shot of a twitchy character (zombie) from behind...also heading to the city...
...end Season 1.
