I'll be on in probably 30-40 minutes or so if you want to conclude the epic saga

Whoa, no! RE4 is fine, leave it alone! RE4 did nothing wrongIm hoping 4 and 6 are just dreams Leon had when Annette shot him. Thinking he is a style icon with a fringe, superhero landings saving the prez's jailbait daughter.
She does state at the end of Revelations 2 that she's worried about Chris to Piers (over the phone or email) and I think Barry...this is actually plausible.Bet it starts with a Claire voice over, talking about how worried she is about Chris. Not because he is missing but the stress caused him to use steroids because he needs to kill Tyrants with his bare hands
Yeah that isn't a bad time, but it's great! The only thing is RE4 on PS4/XB1 won't really have anything to help justify its purchase. RE5/6 had all DLC at least.
It's based off the 2nd PC release, which was leaps and bounds beyond the crappy PS3 version.
That's good to hear. I've owned it on GC, Wii and PS3 so far. Don't mind buying a higher upscale version, and plus, RE4 is a masterpiece. I always loved the rustic foreboding atmosphere in it.
The GC version is great, the PS2 was sub par, Wii was for awhile, the best and the PS3 version was garbage. The best version was the 2nd PC release, in which the first PC release was actually the worst of them all.
In short, looks like we're getting a port of the best version there is, complete with redone textures and 60fps. Too bad the Ada cutscenes will still be untouched and look bad though, but can't win em' all.
Oh yeah I know that much, but it's just no real extras for your money. I also heard some visuals weren't exactly patched up on PC actually but I dunno. It's based off the 2nd PC release, which was leaps and bounds beyond the crappy PS3 version.
PS2's issue was a noticeable visual downgrade and pre-rendered cutscenes to compensate. Some models were even re-done or changed like barrels and boxes. Wii's only issue was maybe some rumors about difficulty being dumbed down and not having real time cutscenes for the PS2 costumes. Sad about the Ada cutscenes though. I have to admit, Capcom could have gone the extra mile in a few ways for these remasters, like removing the surplus of QTEs in RE6, removing co-op entirely in RE5's campaign somehow and fixing RE4's cutscenes like you said. Shame they didn't but at least they are functional and look great. The GC version is great, the PS2 was sub par, Wii was for awhile, the best and the PS3 version was garbage.
