If they kill both off,its the only way in which the series will move forward from the Leon&Chris show

I include Sherry because in the first Trailer there is a frame were she appears wounded and bleeding

I think the safest person of all is Sherry

For the clip, its not really evident whats going on. She could be sat there trying to console a dying team mate and she has their blood on her hands or something. Or Jake acts like a badass loner, she gets seriously hurt and he has to fight to save her showing he is human and a good guy ect..

I dont see Sherry being brought back after 14 years to be somebodys sidekick then killed off. If anything she could be the future of the franchise. She is the only survivor of the Racoon city incident who is still young and active and and only going to get better as opposed to our current heroes who are on the decline.

To be honest, I dont thik so..

I think that it's just the opposite:
The fact of being a secondary and endearing character who returns from RE2 ( Last time we seen her "in action"), is more likely to die than other characters which have been the heroes or "stars" in this franchise since the first RE...In adiittion, this better represents the Capcom's dramatic concept than the "heroes" death

On the other hand, Chris Redfield may be a hero in decline or not, but he is first and foremost a true survivor.(unlike Sherry) I can't see him dying in RE6 bro

I cant see Chris dying either. But i think Capcom are doing a smart thing. Allthough this game is about Chris, Leon & Ada mostly They have also Introduced Piers (Like a Young Chris), Jake( son of wesker) Helenna and Sherry.

All though i cannot see Helenna going anywhere after this game i think there is a very strong chance the other 3 will be used in the future. The game almost feels like a hand-over or passing a torch to these 3 young up and comers. Id be happy to see Sheva again. Free of the horrific AI

The problem with Capcom is that they usually create many "use and throw away" characters (Billy cohen, Sheva Alomar, Carlos Oliveira etc)

I do'nt include Steve Burnside, because I believe that he is Jake Muller.. One more fact or clue (In addition to the matches we already know about Jake and Steve) would be, that Wesker recovered Steve's body (after RECV) and retained Sherry (after RE2).. and this is the starting point for them in RE6, and the reason they know each other

I think, that only Jake Muller is the safest bet for a character with continuity in the future.. Helena and piers, seems like a throw away characters to me... However I'm not sure if Jake Muller could become hero .. or a villain instead after RE6

And about Derek Simmons.. could be Alex Wesker, if you read the Spencer's documents and diary on RE5 ( Nightmares DLC) Alex Wesker is depicted as a "brilliant scientist" (not an Albert Wesker 2.0 badass), Alex was sent by Spencer to Africa as a head leader of the project in order to find a virus -cure .Then Alex makes a "great progress"...however this is the latest espencer knows about him.

3 Key things there i all agree with.

1) I think Jake is a "main" character from this game onwards.
2) I still think its Brainwashed Steve! (screw all this Wesker left his mum crap)
3) I think Alex is Simmons's real identity

According to a Capcom US leaker, all Main char die, one by one until the end of the game. That opens the door for Ada and Jack to be the new main char in future RE. Jill is diagnosed with Cancer and technically she dies too.

Seriously I can see only 2 posibilities:

-Jake Muller is Steve Burnside (and I'm still betting on it )

-Jake muller is just a "product" or "manufacture" like Albert Wesker was, created from his cells (forget his Mum, please)
