Would love to see Claire make a return in the main series of games looking as great as that. :clap

Me and Wez have a love/hate thing going on, well mostly hate I suppose.... Anyway, this thread is getting off topic. Focus!

P.S., I'm taken Wez. ;)

Lol I'm glad but I don't hate you I don't even hate nam or Celtic .

Just how many Gifs of women do you have project a? :lol

If PA's Gif library had a physical form I think it would look like that giant elevator room with all the specimens from RE5. Seriously, PA has a gif no matter what the situation is. Batman of gifs lol.

I just preordered RE6: Anthology for the PS3. Not sure if I should actually get it in that form though. I have all the other RE games already but having them in one collection would be nice.

I may cancel and go with just RE6 by itself.

I need to do it in the next week before I forget and try to do it at the last minute. I mainly want to get that version strictly for RE4 HD edition.

About the lenght of RE6,this is from Capcom forums:

"A German gaming journalist needed 26 hours and 48 minutes to complete all campaigns. He says it is very good."

Usually, a gaming journalist plays a game superfast , so that, I assume it could reach 35 or 40 hours to complete the full game (four campaigns) in a "normal" speed playtrought .. at least for me, when I heard about a 12 hours game lenght, always means 15 or 18 (or even more) for me :)

Got around to finishing all the demo campaigns. Definitely think Chris' is my least favorite. It's just too... Resident Evil 5. I got so tired of that game, so fast, and now apparently they've made his ordeal even more fast-paced and action-oriented than before. Ugh.

As for Jake and Sherry, I actually like the whole "Nemesis reborn" thing they have going on, what with that whole Clive Barker freak chasing after them. Hopefully, that's something we get to encounter throughout the story, like with Jill and the Nemesis.

Leon's scenario, to me is the strongest of the bunch. It's more old school Resident Evil, with modern day mechanics. I'm really hoping there's a ton of nostalgia and scares in his playthrough, because I can already see Jake's being more interesting, if not.

i died for the first time during Jakes demo earlier. Ustanemesis flattened me and i was on the floor crawling towards jake asking for help and he run off to fight a J'avo

I'm going with the Anthology version. I haven't played RE since 2 came out for Playstation. I did grab the remake of RE1 for Wii though, and will probably slowly grab the side games. I'm going to play through 1-5 before tackling six I think. I hope it's as good as it's looking to be.

That's what I'm doing now. You are going to include Code Veronica X in your 1-5 run as well, right? Especially since it's the true intended RE3. The RE3 we know as today was codenamed RE2.5 when it was in development, but changed to RE3 because they wanted to make the "trilogy" complete on the PS1 and to keep the trilogy in Raccoon City (and because Code Veronica was taking a bit longer to finish).

I plan on it, but I'll definitely grab it sooner now, thanks. I've been out of the loop on RE for a long time, so I'm going to skip most of the side games for now.

Most of the side games are irrelevant. Operation Raccoon City is non-canon, Dead Aim, Survivor, and Revelations are stand alone. Outbreak is stand alone but pointless now that online capabilities are gone. Umbrella Chronicles and Darkside Chronicles on the other hand are definitely relevant to the story.

Of the main series, RE3 was my least favorite until RE0 came along. Speaking of, were you going to play RE0 as well?

Awesome, thanks for the clarity Brandoloneous, you saved me a bunch of money, lol. I'm planning on picking up RE0, but wanted to see how RE1 handled on the Wii first. I'll probably grab that, the Chronicles games, and CV in the near future. :)

No problem! If you have a 360 or PS3, Code Veronica and RE4 are available for download in HD. PS3 has both Chronicles games in HD, but not as fun unless you have Move.

Just in case you want to play in order, here's a list of the games' story chronologically:

1998- (July 23/24) Resident Evil 0

1998- (July 24/25) Resident Evil

1998- (September 29/30) Resident Evil 2

1998- (September 28/October 1) Resident Evil 3: Nemesis

1998- (November) Resident Evil: Survivor

1998- (December 27-29) Resident Evil CODE: Veronica

2002- (Summer) Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles (Operation Javier)

2002- (September) Resident Evil: Dead Aim

2003- (February 18) Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles (Umbrella's End, Dark Legacy)

2004- (Autumn) Resident Evil 4

2005- Resident Evil: Revelations

2005- (November) Resident Evil: Degeneration

2006- (November 29) Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition (Lost in Nightmares)

2009- (March) Resident Evil 5

2013- Resident Evil 6

Sweet, thanks Brandoloneous! I appreciate it, that's awesome. I'll have to look into Move as well, hopefully I can use it for more than just RE, lol. That's a lot of games to play, I might have to play them a bit out of order, but I'd like to get to them all eventually.

Not really sure if this is a spoiler or not, but...

has anyone else discovered the alternate weapon modes in the demo? I love Leon's specifically. I'm gonna see what the rest of the cast is capable of. Oh, and I found a "big gun" in Jake and Sherry's scenario earlier.

:D
