Both. I don't suck at video games like most people it looks like (been playing vidya games since 1990)
Camera is fine to me, game play is smooth, QTE's don't bother me and there aren't THAT much. People never *****ed about God of War, Uncharted, or any other game that had them. I've been QTE'ing since Shenmue on the Dreamcast and I love QTE's, but this game doesn't have that many, just enough and it makes sense when they happen.
Reviewers/critics were complaining about the rope climbing segment. What a bunch of whining losers, learn how to play a ****in' video game, it was easy to do in all three campaigns. Not to mention, it reflects how you would really climb, you wouldn't let go of your other hand until your hand has climbed up and gotten a hold. I got the hang of it right away, but my friend didn't until I told him to treat it like you were climbing in real life in their position, grab right, let go left, grab left, let go right, etc.
Story is just fine, we true RE fans are used to this caliber and if anything RE6 steps it up. The vehicle and chase segments were really fun and the cutscenes are top notch! The only annoying, yet funny thing were scripted events happening that you don't know about that end up killing you, like the van swerving into the gas station crushing me
