Taliban cove?

Ar these official RE canon? Never heard of them before, If they are id be interested in them

Alexia Ashford all the way

:goodpost:

Yeah, I might need to bump her slightly above Ada. You completely forget about her since she was around for one game...

If anyone is interested, it looks like they reprinted the old Resident Evil novels with new covers. I saw these at my local BN

That's awesome, I have and read the original set. They really were good adaptions. I really enjoyed the description of the 1st person perspective of becoming a Zombie that was in the 2nd novel Caliban Cove.

No, None of them are RE canon. Some of them are novelizations of specific games(Umbrella conspiracy is RE1, City of the Dead is RE2), but they have difference in what has been deemed official canon Caliban Cove is an original story, which isn't canon, but a fun read. It introduced gun toting zombies waaaaay before the games or movies :lol

They also have Novelizations of REØ, Nemesis and Coder Veronica.
As well as another original, non-canon story, "Underworld", which stars Leon.

Very cool. I still have the original S.D. Perry novels based on the games and I had the the other 2 that were original stories but sold them. Think I may have to re-read them again. I was always a little bummed there were no novelizations of RE4 and 5. Would have been kinda interesting if the Trent character from the novels ever made it into the games.

Yeah I forgot about Trent, I remember he gave Jill the map to the Spencer Mansion before they deployed looking for Bravo team.

Yeah, that whole book was pretty weird. Actually...the concept in the new RE movie (Retribution) reminded me of Underworld a little. With it's separate zones, based on different parts of the world.

yeah, I always thought Trent was a pretty cool character. He was almost like Wesker even before Wesker became the, "always behind the scenes guy"

He was almost a Anti-Wesker since he actually aided any Anti-Umbrella Activities.

I really hope Alex Wesker is in RE7. I would actually like him to be the main antagonist to Leon since Chris got Albert Wesker.

Well, so was Wesker. Wesker was instrumental in Umbrella's final curtain after he took all of their data.

I just want Alex Wesker, period. I don't want that to just be abandoned.

Well you have a point, but Wesker was all in with Umbrella until the 90's and he deviated away from Spencer after he and Birkin got rid of Marcus.

The whole thing about the immortality virus should be the pinnacle in BOWs, it can't really get any higher than that. And the fact that Alex probably just used all Spencer's funding to create it for himself should make him out to be the most powerful being in RE history.

I wouldn't want him/her to turn into a monster. I would rather them keep their human form but just be completely omnipotent, like Wesker but much more. Like completing Spencer's dream of godhood.

I turned it off after "dying" three times. Plus the street scenery looks the same. Lol

I was very disappointed there was no mention of Alex Wesker in RE6. I agree with Bio and pray he's not just another abandoned concept. I still hope ol' Al somehow survived RE5 and makes an appearance in a future RE games. It would be kinda interesting to see him return as well as introduce Alex and see how the 2 interacted with one another.

I can't see him pulling a Darth Vader after the Lava. Yet there was one enemy in RE6 that somehow was able to survive lava without dying...

The T-103's can survive falling into lava so I don't see why Wesker can't. Actually he did survive falling into the lava initially, it was the 2 rockets to the head that killed him. I wonder how his regenerative powers were. That's the one reason I think he could have survived.

Wesker is a clone of many.

It wouldn't be the first clone to grace RE.

It was done with Ada... sorta.

His return would be very odd to do. It just seems like it would be pure fan service but fan service I would fully accept.

If he does come back... PLEASE... PLEASE LET RICHARD WAUGH DO THE VOICE THIS TIME!
