The whole subway section should of been longer since it was the most fun in the entire game.
I hated that! It wasnt scary to me just annoying that the game is so damn dark. The only thing i hate more is the 4th level on Chris's campaign. Fighting the engineers was so annoying. All though i also hate hunting for the 3 pass codes in each campaign.

After the 1st level of Leons campaign i didnt enjoy it until the 4th & 5th (but i did enjoy the boss fight at the end of the 3rd level). I enjoyed 1st,3rd,5th levels of Chris's campaign. I really enjoyed all of Jakes. I highly dislike the 1st level of Ada but liked the other 4.

Theres alot more i like in this game than i dislike. Its just easier to weed out the stuff i dislike. I rate it higher than re 4 & 5 despite the lack of an awesome OST. Theres some tracks i like but its maybe 2 or 3 tracks.

I don't think there is anything memorable in RE5-6 that can top RE4. The story was just OK in RE5, this one is very lazy and forced.

The OST for RE6 is terrible, RE4-5 had great music. RE5 had great boss battle OST for Wesker and Jill.

The only memorable stuff in Re4 for me is leons interactions with Krauser. And thats alot to do with loving Operation Javier. Other than that, some of the music and loving the inventory system it just feels like a longer winded re 5. People complain about Shevas AI but i much preferred it than having to look after a defenseless Ashley who was always getting carried away. Re4 Added nothing to that RE story other than the plagas who thankfully for this game have been completely forgotten. It was a self contained game, that unfortunately spilled over into re 5 a bit with the Majini.

The J'avo are basically Majini without Parasites, this is RE5.5. But in terms of story it moved the story more than the other two. Even though this story is very weak and forced.

RE5 music is retarded.. maybe a few little tracks when you finish chapters like "Lost in nightmares" and Jill boss, but the rest...

RE4 had good soundtrack, I didn't complain at all about it, RE6 reminds me of 5 a bit but its better

LOL engineers :rotfl they are annoying at first but c'mon.. they are just some J'avo that pretend to be better, piece of cake

I'd say.. I find Leon's chapter 3 USELESS and amazingly BORING!! They should have gone to china by then, I wanted to kill zombies with the BSAA by my side but noooo all I did there was fighting Simmons the most forgettable boss of RE history... I even prefer Saddler..
Unlike the other campaigns (that make sense)... I found myself fightng against a T rex and a giant Fly :slap

In some ways RE4 and RE5 are better than RE6, but 5 particularly.. because is action but its like the game accepts what it is, RE6 has an identity crisis, but overall... RE6 is almost all I wanted for RE5 back then so personally, I LOVE it

I never understand people that DARES to compare Ashley to Sheva :lol
really.. wtf...

I never lost because of Ashley.. she never stole my herbs, she never was in the way when I had to shoot, she never got me KILLED

Sheva is the only reason I can die in Re5

Edit: seriously, the concept of RE5 back then in 2004/2005 was much better than the actual game, no co op, old style RE

Finished jake and sherry on Normal. Wasnt bad. I really cant be arsed to even start Ada's. Lost interest halfway through chris' to be honest. Just became a chore.

I think that Ada's is the best (and the most difficult) followed by Chris's. BUT, chapter 1 and 2 Leon's had more of an eerie feel and good ole fashioned zombies so out of all the chapters, I liked those the best.

Being done feels great. But I will probably still go back and play a crap load more as I really enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed Ada's but I feel like a minority who just hated Chris's all the way through until Hao's at the end. And the ending to Chris's campaign was very similar to Steve Burnside's death which I thought was hack.

RE7 please stop giving us Chris and give us his more interesting sister teaming up with Leon, Sherry and Ada for a full RE2 reunion.

I liked most of Leon's, Chris's was just a chore just to get to Jake and Ada's.

Thats why the University and Tall oaks where enough to make one good and solid game, but that wasn't capcom's goal

There was one puzzle with Ada and was pretty difficult..

I didn't even know the J'avo used guns until I played it. ENOUGH OF THAT STUPID MECHANIC ALREADY!!

Tall Oaks should of been just a redone RE2, it might of been a good game if done that way. Once you go into the catacombs Leon's campaign started sucking.

I enjoyed Jake's all the way through for the most part. I thought Ustanak was a cheap Nemesis rip off but now I think he's quite worthy of being a Nemesis clone.

I love the J'avo, but this should be their last game, that type of enemy created a new fan base I'm sure, the people that started with RE4 or 5 are loving all of this .. I'm dunno what to think, the next RE should have zombies and thats it, but capcom will think in a way to keep the game popular with the action fanbase :gah:

Maybe you liked it too much back then but Nemesis sucks compared to the Ustanak, you just run away from him or shoot him, there isn't an intresting gameplay at all, and those moments when he finds you desiding to fight / leave or.. to throw something at it or hide, thats old

But well.. it is an old game and it was awesome so I don't complain, but the Ustanak was more intresting in Edonia after that.. I felt they should have done more with him

Comparing Ustanak to gameplay from almost 20 years ago? Really?

I can't stand the RE4-6 noobs. These are the same people that contribute hundreds of millions of dollars to this **** movies.

you had to compare the elder Nemesis to the Ustanak.. I did the same just that I don't think the Nemesis is better just because I like it more

Don't even talk about those movies... I saw the last one, I wanted to kill myself.. some stuff is ok but I dislike Anderson's style I try but I just can't stand the guy

I feel the same but its kinda useless.. I have no problem with that people, but I really can't stand the people that call themselves 'true fans' and hate everything just because they played the old games, most of them don't even know who Marcus or Spencer is

Well said Ustanak is wannabe nemesis thats all nothing really memorable about him honestly .

:exactly:

Most seasoned Resident Evil veterans love Nemesis. The fact that Ustanak from the very beginning was refered to as a Nemesis clone proves the value of Nemesis to the series.

He's a nice clone of Nemmy, but he is not Nemmy.

And talking **** about the real time choices? That was revolutionary for the 90's.

Getting different game outcomes used to be the main stay of RE and has long since been dead. RE6 isn't really calling back to that since it's 3 different perspectives but they all end up in the same place, no matter what you do.

Hey hey... I've been playing this game since 1997 and I like the films as well. I do hate the newer fan base because they think the old RE games suck compare to the new ones. They're always comparing them. IMO this game is the weakest, sure it's fun and introduces "some" interesting new characters but the story sucks, music sucks, the J'avo and plaga suck. Lol

Yea obvious Capcom is running out of ideas the thing with ada is silly and this Ustanak
The mentions that they were going to bring Wesker back just phony .

I respect if you find the movies enjoyable, but people that trash the PSX games have their heads up their asses.

Las Plagas was something different, but the whole head tentacle thing got old really fast in RE5.

J'avo are the dumbest thing since boulder punching, maybe even worse.

EDIT: And also the RE6 music... RE has always had good composing and compelling themes (RE1-CVX) and I liked RE4 since it was a different themed game and RE5 had a FEW good tracks... but RE6 across the board was **** ing terrible.

It's hard not to get stale after so many games though. :lol
