You mean not hording and being able to be fan of more than 1 thing at a time? My current favorite game series to play are Dark souls, im buying DC universe hot toy figures and i have a bunch of other stuff on the side. Its a shame your world is Resident Evil when you havent even played half of it.

I've forgotten more about the franchise you love than you know about it in total.

I don't think it will be "bad" whatsoever. Everything so far seems high quality. But will it fit RE? Probably not. It should of been a new IP, but either way I see it being a hit. I see it being Outlast, with guns.

Well Tokyo game show is coming soon so we'll find out soon but I agree now. I don't like the outlast vibe I'm getting. Sure it's what's hot right now but I didn't want resident evil to go that route.
I'm glad they confirmed various guns and weapons but who do you fight is the question. This game looks so ghost heavy it's hard to believe that they confirmed they are no ghost in this.

I think the whole ghost angle is fine, but we know at the core that it's all virus based. Multiple weapons and this atmosphere leads me to believe it's almost going for a REmake level of decay to the setting. I just hope the story is tied enough to the main canon were used to. Otherwise, it's a pointless PT/Outlast clone cash in.

I think the demo was good laying the ground work in our minds on what the actually game will be, and I can see it being the survival horror we've been asking for... but FPS? Eh I don't know. But I do know that it will probably be a great game, but not RE.

Ugh I dont think I will be able to play this in VR if they show your leg getting hacked off with a shovel I am way too chicken to stomach that.

At least those complaining about the whole game being stealth only can shut up now the weapons are listed.

I'm so glad we have zombies and monsters. I thought this game was just two people as the angonist. Phew! Now I can get a bit hyped. Still gotta see more but it's already looking better than 6. I don't mind the first person tbh as I knew they'd go for somthing new once over the shoulder ran its course.

As of now, I'm still a little iffy about the first person. Mostly because I just prefer 3rd person because I like seeing the animations of the characters. And I like seeing attack animations while grappling with the monsters. In first person it just turns into shakycam nonsense. But oh well I'll get over it.

I wonder if this antagonist being called "the family man" has any connection to "The Family" that was mentioned in RE6...

I don't mind first person, takes me awhile to get used to it. I did enjoyed Dying Light but with being first person I didn't connect to the character.

Anyway, I'll wait for move videos that show combat because so far the hide and seek thing is boring. I wouldn't mind some like Siren Blood Curse.

That reminds me of Condemned when they lob off your finger in first person. Good times.
