They should've called the game something else then.I Pre-ordered it already.
I have a huge respect for Capcom for not taking the safe route, and trying something new.

It hasn't been Resident Evil since Code Veronica. If they would have released, something exactly like a successor to resident evil 6...you would have a lot of people that would say, that the series is getting stale.
They did something bold, and completely went from scratch, and the series new and refreshing again.
That's balls.
And I'm not even a first person gamer. I've always prefered 3rd person.
After playing the demo, Resident evil feels new again.

I'd commend them a little more if they were actually innovating. As of now it just seems like another dime a dozen first person horror game which have all become a little "samey"
However what would make this special for me, is the Resident Evil touches, which I don't see a lot of. The herbs and item chest are nice. The EKG health system is also gloriously welcome. But I hope to see more while playing the game.
I'll say this. They definitely have me curious about whats going on and that alone will motivate me through the story...I hope
Fixed! Silly Vinnie :It hasn't been Resident Evil since REmake and 4.
Story cannot be any worse than RE6's globetrotting garbage.
this is the weirdest marketing campaign. I've never seen a game advertise how it saves
I'm actually kind of enjoying this now
And its "makes no sense" love revenge story...thing.
because you disagree with everything you lose! gtfo vinnie binnie. begone ye plebian peasant punk.I don't agree bunky.
Remakes-shmemakes.
Leon's campaign seems like it was building up for nostalgic moments with how he was stuck in another town full of zombies when he was sent there just after the outbreak began...that's the strange thing. RE6's story was trying WAAAAAY too hard to be epic, and ambitious. No Hope Left was its slogan...of all things, really? all those commercials about hope and stuff. and I thought God of War III was bad with its sudden messages about hope in the end game. And there wasn't even a payoff in it. Colonel Sanders gets killed... and that's it
If Leon kissed Ada again, I think it would of been something. When I really break it down, I think the only nostalgia I got out of it was Ada's RE2 theme being played at the end.
At least it isn't Kojima-level marketing, we'd be losing our ******* minds nothing about RE6 makes sense. I almost wonder how did Jake inherit Wesker's super strength and martial arts...and then how Wesker lowered his standards...when did he find time between Uroboros and stuff.....and when yout hink about all this nonsense, it gets worse. So much worsethis is the weirdest marketing campaign. I've never seen a game advertise how it saves
I'm actually kind of enjoying this now
