Just had a play on the updated demo on the Pro. The door on the right after the first room is now open for exploration.

Haven't got that far but I did die.. but you'll have to see for yourself. This **** is scary. :panic:

Yeah, you find ammo now, but haven't found a gun....

Update: yeah, found the gun. And some other cool stuff - being vague on purpose. Nice update to demo. Very tempted to get the PSVR now.....

Yah I got the handle but then the enemy comes out and I can't do anything to survive. I tried kicking the body bags but that didn't do much to the enemy

I got lucky with it. Kept the bags between us and then I would kick the door, and repeat. Door finally gave way....

Regardless of its purpose, getting the axe is a little tricky. The first step is in the VHS tape portion of the demo. While in the kitchen, check the floor between the microwave counter and the refrigerator to find a lockpick. Use the lockpick on the locked blue cabinet drawer in the kitchen. While in the VHS tape world, there will be nothing in the drawer, but upon returning to present day, players will discover an axe waiting there. The axe can be used to smash boxes upstairs, and also the mannequin that will spawn at the top of the stairs. Smashing things with the axe doesn’t appear to progress the demo’s story in any capacity, however.

from an older review, ill try this after

So, now that I was the PSVR, of course it's sold out everywhere...lol

For those that have played the demo in VR, do the graphics look like the non-VR version of the demo or is there a serious downgrade? To me, the graphics are AMAZING looking. Truly. Of course, shadows can hide tech issues, but what we see is amazing looking. (and yes, I am easy to please)

I am so not crabby - when medicated. Not saying any of you are crabby. Oh, awkward. Foot out of mouth NOW!

To me the graphics are better in VR. So much more detail and there are things you notice more. I can't see me playing the game any other way. Also the head tracking for aiming weapons is phenomenal. The image is not as sharp for sure but the immersion factor outweighs the sharper, cleaner non VR version.

In the new demo you can skip the VHS segment. Get the fuse, go upstairs to the attic, grab the basement key. Go through the newly opened mouldy door to the basement, as you go down there is a lockpit at the bottom of the stairs to the left wall.

Ive found 10 bullets and the handgun. Managed to escape without being infected but Ive not solved the 5 murders yet.

If TLoU 2 outdoes RE7 on a horror level, despite being a purely survival title, that's the end of RE for me :lol

TLoU was not a scary game - maybe one or two parts.

As for the lockpick, yeah, you can use that to unlock the locked cabinet in the kitchen - and that has the ax. Do not try to take on the creature in the basement with it. I had a false sense of security...lol

TLOU wasn't supposed to be a horror title. RE7 will be fun, probably another RE4 level game where it pulls in a truck load and then we get stuck in FPS games for a decade... but TLOU2 will crush it.

I played the demo update, pretty cool. The mold monster was a surprise, as well as getting a gun. You can kill it, but it's hard to not get infected in the process.
