I'm just not a fan of their figures, especially the shading on the face! They look like they haven't sleep, or were punched in the face, or are crack heads. :lol Plus, pricey figures for decent quality.

Solidus Snake is over 100 bucks but still a awesome figure. I get it this week actually. Their scale is getting bigger but so is their price.

And your damn right about some of their paint apps, Solid Snake looks like he is on meth and Naked Snake looks like he's Mexican :slap

Their Chun-Li, which I own is their prettiest figure. Sculpt and paint job are stellar for that scale.

I would prefer classic re figures[look wise] and b.o.w.'s than the newer games. The monsters from re4-re6 are just not memorable.

Yeah, Neca covered that line, which I only got Ada and the chainsaw ganado. Didn't care for the monks. :lol

Anyway, we'll see. Bring on Ada.

Know its a bit off topic but since your a big mgs fan does hot toys have the license for every game or just mgs3?

Were in the dark about that as far as I know. But if I had to guess it's for the whole franchise. I hope it's not just a one and done with the Snake Eater line.

I do think they will do a Naked Snake variant since they titled this one Sneaking Suit "Version."

Nice collection Project!

Question: what are your thoughts on the NECA Ada figure? I was thinking of picking that up. But, wasn't so sure of the face sculpt and paint. Do you have a close up pic of Ada's face by any chance?

TIA

Thanks for the quick pics Project! Your Ada looks like she has the same paint app as the other Adas that I've seen. Looks like too much shading on her arms, legs, etc. kinda similar to PAK's grey foreheads.

I guess you get what you pay for since this Ada figure is still going for pretty cheap. $30 and under since I've last checked.

Maybe I could pick her up and repaint her myself? Hmm, not sure yet.

Thanks again! :hi5:

In your opinion what is the best brand to buy if say you want to make a headsculpt? Or just adding to a headsculpt like what you did with Jill?

jill bs ht head (because longer lashes, cheaper, easy removing ponytail)
tamiya epoxy putty with a modelling knive i used a no name but the carve will somewhen dull on scratching so have a second carve/knive i dont know if it hasegawa or other brands dont happend .. and revell aqua color.. easy to paint.. you can cut jills rubber hairs really close to the uc style then added epoxy wait 1/30 h make first simple structure and after 6 hours i start really work thats my way i did in my case its easy works

i forget to say masking tape, sandpaper (i used 600 and 1000)
for painting i used i believe its names torray hair brushes for acrylic paint, revell masking liquid (<- dont know english calling) and revell aqua color remover
