Why does she look so cheaply done? Lol besides the rail gun there’s not much left to be desired from the figure. Maybe the sculpt? Either way glad I passed on this figure!

It's an odd Jill, thats for sure.
I mean I could literally build a more accurate custom from scratch using miscellaneous ebay parts than what they did with this figure.
I'm kind of where I'm not sure if I should sell it, or keep it because of those accessories. I doubt anyone will be selling that rail gun under $100.
The only good thing about this set is probably the weapons/accessories. The base isn't too bad either I suppose. And the sculpt is sort of ok, maybe a little better than the SW head. I was gonna throw that one up there for comparison too, but the only one I have is my crappy repainted one. lol
But yeah, really weird release. And we've seen Daftoys do much better, so I don't get this one. lol

I read on BBICN that someone was claiming that Damtoys was working on three generations of Jill. It might just be a rough translation, or maybe the guy was just full of himself. Hopefully theres some truth in that. Jill deserves a sculpt that actually looks like her for once.

Just posting some resident evil merchandise I saw in the Capcom store when I was in Japan last month. They were pricey!

The prices of the airsoft Samurai Edge replicas is extremely reasonable, actually! Converted to USD or GBP they're a lot less than I'd pay locally.

Which bodies would be the best of the Dragon versions of Chris and Claire from CV?

Don't think I've ever seen that Chris figure before, so can't say for sure.
As for Claire, that's a tough one. Maybe set her up next to a female SWToys figure for a size comparison? I'm thinking if she's around that size, then maybe a TBL s25/24 or a smaller S27 body might work.
The skin tones will be off though.

Here's an old pic from four years ago. Dragon Chris' outfit fits a TTM-19 and the Dragon Claire vest and shirt is on an Alice body, but the pants are random jeans I got since the Dragon Claire jeans are too small:

This time I comissioned madam_bu to fix Alice 3.0 from SW. This time SW truly outdone themselves, it was a killer combo of horrible paintapps and yellow seamless body that did not match both existing hs and Milla's body overall. Hands down the worst looking figure in my collection.

I've changed yellow body to a pale one and asked madam_bu to match that one. She really outdid herself this time. One of the best Milla's

Using a Jiaou doll body. The 11c-ys I think. Pretty good skin tone and height match to the Damtoys stock body.

Hard to believe thats the SW sculpt.
I always find it fascinating how some painters can completely change a sculpt into something like this. Thats some skill right there.

The talent this lady exhibits is one many can only dream of; the transformations are legendary. I noticed on her Instagram that she repainted a HT Wesker head... it must be said that I'm tempted to have something similar done. I dare not know what telephone numbers such work costs!
