With a good camera you should take some outdoor pictures. Built some sets for them. I always wanted to do that with my Alice's.

Btw, anyone getting the Rebecca outfit? I still can't find a good sculpt...

Always loved your STARS collection. I think the Enrico is the best of the Bravo team of your figures.

Thanks Snake! He's definitely the most streamlined of the Bravo members The rest definitely look more like customs than Enrico.

Thanks PA and good idea! I should be able to take better night shots now, and with all this El Nino we've been having in Nor Cal, my backyard grass has grown quite a bit. I could do some REmake/RE0 Arklay forest shots! Reminds me, I really should do some RE4 cloudy-dead tree shots while I still have the chance.

Here's a comparison of the Edward Dewey looks:

Old Edward Dewey with the dark blue vest. Of course, it didn't help when most fans thought the same damn thing :

New Edward Dewey with accurate dark gray vest. Even the official cartoony concept art had him in gray:

Also updated Joseph's vest color to the correct gray-black vest. Looks like fans were a little more divisive with this vest color, choosing either blue or black. Hell, only time we see the guy is in the dark Arklay forest in both the live action and the CG REmake. Again, I decided to refer to the original art as well as the one and only art of him in the REmake below.

Original Artwork has the vest looking dark gray-black. I remember the instruction booklet made all the grey-toned art look much more blue tinted, hence why I grew up thinking Barry's pants were blue and Joseph's vest blue. Even Enrico and Wesker's vest looked blue in the PS1 instruction booklet:

Hence, Old Joe was the first to use the dark blue vest followed by a black vest with blue tint...:

and finally, New Joe with the accurate gray-black vest:

I know it's kinda ridiculous with this pointless vest color analyzing, but as a perfectionist who had always second guessed the decisions I made in my personal art pieces, I feel better sharing it with fellow RE fans now that the corrections have been made almost four years later

Great updates to your costumes, it's funny how small little updates can change the whole figure!

Your STARS Jill still needs to be updated. It's green not blue!

Hey thanks PA. Yeah, honestly, Joseph looks much better in black/dark gray than he does blue. Edward, well, I kept the dark blue vest around just in case. Now I'm wondering if I should make Forest's vest darker blue?

I hate how even in the remaster they didn't fix the colors. Jill's outfit is still gray as all hell as is Forest's vest, yet, on the cover of Origins Collection and in the CG cut scenes, blue.

Just look at all the gray on the in-game character models

Going off the RE0 CG opening, maybe I should give Forest two suspenders?

Found this on Google images. Like Chris, his vest is darker in the original PS1 but lighter in the REmake. I guess I'll just leave the color alone for now.

Hi everyone. I'm new here, and new to customs in general. I have a few questions, sorry if they've been asked already but there's a loooooot of pages on this thread!

1) I ordered the Viking Jill Valentine set and used it with the HT Ada (I've read a few pages of this thread and it seems like a few of you did as well), however the ankle pegs for Ada are too small to be compatible with Jill's boots. Is there another set of pegs I can use, or is it only fixable by modding the pegs/peg holes? I've temporarily fixed this by jamming blu-tac into the boot, but obviously I'd like a more permanent solution.

2) I'm considering making a custom of Wesker in his black Code Veronica outfit. Can anyone think of a suitable body type for this? I was thinking of just using the Expendables 2 Barney Ross as the outfit is pretty much bang on, but will the Wesker head fit this body? Will the head look too small? Is the body too big? Apparently the S.T.A.R.S. Wesker head won't work without some serious modding due to the light up feature, but there is a kit by MOE Toys which I'm planning on getting. If the Barney body is too big, will the clothes fit a smaller body or will they be too loose? Are there similar clothes that would fit a smaller body?

I had no issue with the Viking boots, plus I used a BSAA Jill body. As for Wesker, Brandon might help... Unless you're a spy working for Poopa. but I would go with a more narrow type body.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Not a good idea putting a Wesker head on a Barney body, otherwise you'll have a beefy, roided looking Wesker. Just go with a Wesker body. His HCF outfit in CV is a flight suit with a load bearing harness. I can post more details tomorrow with pictures. Bed time for me.

Thanks for the advice. Like I said, I'm new to customizing so I'm not sure about the difference in bodies yet. I'll pass on Barney's body. Does Wesker's body have a specific name? I'm in the UK so it's hard for me to acquire parts, especially from a rare figure like Wesker.

I've asked one painter on here, and another hadn't gotten back to me. Basically said it will be too difficult to try to make the new paint match. I'd like to post a thread somewhere to shop for a painter, but there isn't exactly a section for that.

It's about a 1/4 inch little section that needs a touch up.

Another quick question; I'm in the middle of sorting out a S.T.A.R.S. Jill with the outfit made by GeeWhiz. I'm using the Ada body again but I'm having trouble finding a pair of boots that will fit. Has anyone got any suggestions please?

Just look eBay or different 1:6 stores. Plus, the Ada body might be too thin for Jill.

Yeah, Ada body is too thin for Jill's proportions. I might get in on it and send them a Jill body to help out. I have a feeling geewhizcustoms would make a better outfit than Psycho Customs did.
