Well it's not Ark. IT'S BUDDY!

Remember Resident Evil Survivor’s hero? Ark Thompson was his name, and for a while there was some speculation from fans (including myself) implicating that it was Ark. I must say, the resemblance is striking, and if it wasn’t the long-lost Billy Coen then it very well could have been the lone survivor/babysitter Ark Thompson.

Well, so much for that.

This guy is 100% new, apparently his name is Buddy and he has the ability to control B.O.W.s. His identity was confirmed by the Voice Actor of Buddy himself. It’s quite a shame really, if Leon and Ark really were friends it would have been awesome to see them work together. However, it’s exciting to see new characters come into the battlefield and especially since this guy can control B.O.W.s I’m very excited to see him make his way into the series.

With Buddy and Jake (RE6) making their way into the playing field with their special abilities it really shows how much the world of Resident Evil is evolving. Until September 25th I will be jumping up and down every time I look at the calendar awaiting Resident Evil Damnation’s launch.
