I've been playing through the games on PS4 lately to get ready for 7. Right now I'm on 5. I don't have much time for gaming lately so it's taking me forever...I may not have time for RE6 before 7 comes out...and that MAY not be an accident :lol

I hope RE7 isn't a bust... I get the feeling it will be a blast, but it will feel very detached from the series as a whole. I forget, but are the tape recorders the save points now? Checkpoints ruined the series.

Dear lord. I just can't . I respect your opinion but for **** sake. Orc the top 2? Re2 pushed the envelop for resident evil further.

And you can come up with with a better mock name than ironwuz .

Wow I just can't . So let me ask. Did you enjoy orc? That game is virtually unplayable and dead aim.... well it's dead aim.

You realize you like the worst re games made. Did you like umbrella corps to?

of course i can come up with even worse name for you but it'd be a violation.

ORC is great you guys just can't shake off the nostalgia from older RE.

Dead Aim is very good, unless you aren't using a Namco gun, then aiming would be difficult. It's like playing RE4 on Wii. Only downside is the storyline & character design because it's not part of the main franchise, just like Outbreak series. You probably had bad experience with previous Gun Survivor games, thus again the blinded bias views.

yes because everytime the majority can't accept ones opinion that differs from theirs they get labeled as trolls. and it's Potato, not Chicken.

I apologize for species labeling you as poultry. If you want to be a vegetable, good for you :lol this is quite a switch from complaining that people in this section constantly goof on your name and you getting upset over it.

It's nothing to do with differing opinions. But you get off on having the worst opinion which is obviously fake, just to get reactions from people here. This is why I don't even entertain any of your posts.

I bought all of the PS4 releases on day one. Started replaying 6, but didn't quite get through Leon's campaign. Then I started replaying 4 when that came out, but the controls felt a lot less solid on the PS4 compared to the Gamecube, PS2, and Wii versions, so I stopped playing that too.

As I was playing through RE4 again I realized I REALLY don't like a majority of the castle segments. The village and villagers are so creepy and atmospheric and you feel like there's real danger......the castle just feels like a cartoon...and the monks are too silly. then the salazar robot..ugh..I like the military facility afterwards because it feels like an abandoned lab and what have you...but man...I was struggling to get through the castle...I don't remember feeling that way :lol

I do like Salazar though, so whatever :lol

I'm actually going to weirdly find some common ground with you right now. I do like Dead Aim. It's bad, but it's not bad enough to not want to play. And I actually think the monster designs are better than anything in the series from RE4 onward....cept for Morpheus. He's whack...er..she's whack..hmm...Morpheus is Whack..

I wasn't blinded by nostalgia. I got the game. And played it and it sucked. It was a horrible game. Orc was awful. It was repetitive and not fun. It was horrible.

I loved Dead Aim. Throught it was great back in the day of CRT lightguns. Cant use lightguns anymore though as I have an LED TV. Its frigging hard playing Survivor and Dead Aim again, but I think the worst RE to play again is both Outbreaks. I played Filed 2 inbetween RE5 and RE6 earlier this month and it really does play god bloody awful.

Honestly...I almost feel like that was the point with the castle segments barring those Ashley segments. Having to defend Ashley from cultists while you're far away (that OST especially) and can't actually get to her could be tense. Especially since in the second one, the doors were SO close. But on the other hand...you have the giant robot, Salazar himself, the fact that they have a freaking gattling gun hidden away, and that cannon segment (**** that segment, seriously). All kind of cartoonish indeed. :lol Hold the phone...you agree with the friggen tater?!

This guy illustrates a lot of issues with RE4.

The village section is AWESOME! And then it becomes a completely different game. The castle section is meh, and it doesn't feel like it should be anywhere near the village. It's also WAY too big. What the **** is up with Metal Gear Salazar? Why does that even exist? The island section with the Mad Max **** heads is so completely disconnected and random in comparison to the awesome tone which was set up. That being said, I still love the game.

I love the cultist angle, it's just that section is so overly bloated. What's up with the rollercoaster carts and the giant lava room? :lol

The game should of ended there... but then we go to this random island military base? Then the Commando level knife fight :rotfl

RE4 is the cheesiest of the series, but it's still good regardless of weird choices.

The castle is ok...it's just weird. Where as the mansion in the first RE feels like an actual haunted house. The castle feels like the haunted mansion ride at disneyland. It has it's moments though. Like the novistadors section.

The last time I played 4 was on the PS2 and GameCube. Haven't since. :lol

Finished Leon/Helena on RE6. Tried Jake/Sherry. Just cant bring myself to play so I have moved onto Revelations 2. I forgot I had it. I think it has the best version of over-the-shoulder and like being able to crouch. Decent atmosphere too

On RE4, I still hate it as an RE game but as a third person shooter its fantastic. It starts off ok, as soon as Mendez catches you and infects both you and Luis it starts to go downhill. I really hated El Gigante as a boss. I mean lets be honest, you have a village with literally a giant, a giant fish, a **** off castle with an extremely sophisticated mine leading to an expansive oil rig/laboratory complex on a coastline. How did nobody know of this yet Mike the helicopter pilot was there pretty quick?

Always boggled my mind with Salazar prime aswell.
