Yeah until it's properly confirmed, I don't like to give weight to these 'insiders' disclosing all the juicy (or not so) gossip / news about the super secret project they or their 'friend' is/has been working on.

Yes, on the day of the 20th anniversary and given the "We Do IT" I was hopeful we would get some news, however the fact we didn't means

1) It's not ready / Suitable for even a trailer.

2) It's Cancelled

Between now and the official announcement trailer or cancellation you're going to get the

"breaking news: I know everything about the R2 remake because my friends sisters uncles squirrel overheard a conversation at the local park by one of the developers sons babysitters yoga instructors tax advisor!

I know right? Capcom doesn't love its fans like that. All credibility was thrown out the window when he said that. The real answer is they forgot about it or they made it into a mobile game.

If they replace William Birkin with a female Licker...I may actually pull the "refuse to buy" card and follow through.

These days it seems like something they would do too...building the in game model of all 5 Birkin forms is more expensive...they are very budget conscious these days.

I hope that new Monster Hunter is giving them some spending cash...

Female Licker is Claire's "Mister X".

There's no reason to replace Birkin.

I not too confident in Capcoms reasoning. But...these are leaks. Can't get too worked up, so I will diminish and go into the west...and remain Galadriel.
