I mean... it plays well, beside the odd dog scooting crawl you can do when you're on your back holding a gun. It's not short by any means. The biggest problem is there is like 3% horror with 97% Michael Bay horse **** and uninspired enemy designs.

Hmm, should I get Zero then? Never beaten that either.

Also, is there local and online story co-op in RE6 like Peace Walker?

Yeah RE6 has COOP for both story and Mercenaries.

The Zero remaster is good if you've never played it. But personally, I think that and Code Veronica are battling for the worst game of the series. Zero has the least amount of driving story of the main series I think. There's no real spoken purpose as to why Billy and Rebecca are even trying to progress. The Training Facility is a cheap and boring Spencer Mansion.

I think it's biggest weakness is the enemies (aside from Leech Man) They're just big versions of things that already exist. Centipede, Crickets, Spiders, Frogs and a Bat.

Wait, you think CV is worse than 3? :horror

You don't like RE3? I think it's far more fun than CV. I find CV very dull, and many of the gameplay mechanics you encounter are ****ing stupid and game breaking.

Oh I do, very much. It's just that wasn't RE3 intended as a side story while they were working on a true sequel (CV) but Capcom had to re title Nemesis as a numbered game due to the exclusivity deal with Sony? I think that was the case. When I first saw CV on the Dreamcast, I was floored.

In terms of innovation, CV had more going for it as it was fully 3D, as for which one I prefer- I dunno myself. I guess I love them all equally (except Zero). :lol

I hate CV for being so damn hard though. I've only beaten it twice. The game is seriously unfair.

Yeah because CV was taking too long, and they got RE3 on shelves in only five months time. I find CV's game world too ****ing big for that style of play. Not to mention the first time I played it, I royally ****ed myself because I left stuff in the security box when I went to Antarctica.

Re 3 is fine but its easily the worst of the tank control main line games. Its like, 90 minutes if you dont get stuck at the water puzzle? You revisit and play a part of the game that was literally in Re 2? It feels really rushed out and lazy.

Its got some of the best music in the series, but its basically a DLC story for Re 2 at this point.

Code Veronica is wayyyy better.

I'll never understand why that game ever got reverence. I always found it needlessly tedious, ugly game world since it wasn't pre-rendered, and many game breaking things that didn't need to be in it. RE3 is shorter, but I've gone back to it dozens and dozens of times while I've beaten CV less than 10 times. I think it's because I find the whole setting of it boring, while Raccoon City is like Pizza.

The Albinoid is THE worst boss of the main series. All that lead up for such a flaccid boss fight.

Chris was ridiculously huge in RE5, but yeah he's still almost as big in RE6. I never understood why Capcom likes him the best when he's the most boring male lead of the series. That contrived "depth" they tried to give him in RE6 was laughable.

Billy is the only male lead that has zero faults.
It's strange how they almost downplayed his strength in RE6, and why they like him best...I dunno, Jill seemed like their favorite briefly since she was in MvC 2. Billy is great though :lecture

@ Ryan RE6 PS4 goes for even cheaper on Amazon , you're better off doing that or price matching in a store :lol

On CV my problem is the difficulty, the length and how the game doesn't seem to be built around it. I think it has aged surprisingly poorly in spots. Also it has Steve, so that really kills the game in many ways and I'm not just blindly hating him, if you think about it Steve did lead to the game's worst moments. RE3 has a strange flow to it, some bad back tracking and I found it hard to navigate. I also despise the RNG puzzles - Capcom and RNG is literally the WORST thing in any game period, be it Mega Man X5 and X6, Devil May Cry 4 with that ******* board game or RE3's puzzles and stuff. 0's problems are all that's stated here, though add in the forced two character management and clear lack of focus, along with nothing else new and the lack of item boxes, and you've got a mess. None of these three games are bad though, by any means.

Don't forget the nonstop QTE's.

RE6 Chris is still on steroids, while RE5 Chris was just more serious and made less jokes which I really disliked and all 'partner this, partner that' which sounds like something out of a bad children's cartooon

The whole mentioning of partner really grating on my after a while, and was especially eye roll worthy once you get the whole ' Jill ' situation finally revealed towards the end there.

That water purification puzzle in 3 is the only puzzle in all of RE history that drives me nuts ! I hate it !

First time I have ever read someone describe a boss fight as flaccid :rotfl God damn :goodpost:

I've completed Code Veronica maybe 10 times, Got about 2/3 in about 25 other times (start the game, no saves and just play until i get bored and knock it off ). Never once fought the Albinoid.

Oh god it's terrible. It's in a square room and it just shoots out electrical pulses in the water. Del Lago in RE4 kinda was a redo of it, although much better.

Wait, is that a mandatory boss? The last time I beat CV was over 10 years ago, I guess I need to give it another try. Got halfway trough o the PS3 version but I lost my saves.

Oh i encountered it obviously as you need the halberd from the crest. But its not really a fight, you just drop in to the water, take a shock, grab the item, maybe take a 2nd shock and heal then leave. Its pretty much getting the death mask without fighting yawn
