So this will be my first RE game since code veronica,i haven't played any of the others since the games took place in Racoon city.

I need to wikipedia these games to catch up on the story,i have no clue what's been going on since

Dont wiki them... play them! You are only 2 games behind (unless you count revelations on the 3DS). And Operation Racoon City takes place during 2 and 3 so its not like you need to play 4 and 5 to know whats up with ORC!

I'm about halfway through Revelations, and I'm going to push myself to finish it this weekend before ME3 comes out next week. I really doubt there will be anything major you missed out on since this is taking place during the Raccoon City outbreak, or I'm sure they'll clue us in on it.
