I don't have anything against X-Box in general or its fans, but I hate the whole exclusive downloadable content and early by 3 months demo stuff they always pull.

It doesn't bother me. I have both systems, but I look at this as MS validating their subscription costs for users. If every PS3 owner had to pay for online PSN playing, and they weren't securing exclusive content like this for us then I'd start getting ticked off.

It doesn't bother me. I have both systems, but I look at this as MS validating their subscription costs for users. If every PS3 owner had to pay for online PSN playing, and they weren't securing exclusive content like this for us then I'd start getting ticked off.

I can understand that side of the coin as well, but even if we buy a Playstation Plus membership, X-Box is still always first with the exclusive downloadable content and early release demos. I wish we could all get the same gameplay experience on multi-platform games across the board. I don't care about console exclusive games like Halo, Gears of War, Uncharted and so on. That makes sense to me.

I think this is really Sony's fault though. MS puts the money out there for the content, but Sony never seems to do it. I can't really blame the game developers for taking money to do this.

I guess it all does come down to the money in reality. I wish it wasn't that way, but my wishing ain't going to change anything.

At the end of the day, I'm happy with my PS3. I don't have any problems with those that prefer X-Box, but I've always been a Sony game player myself. I prefer the controller, etc. I've learned to be patient with the DLC and such. It's just a little more difficult with Resident Evil, though.
