I hope it won't try so hard to be a dedicated 3rd-person shooter like Operation Racoon City and RE6. Need that survival feeling to it that have been missing lately!

Id care about this game if i cared about tall oaks. It could be an old school survival horror game and i wouldnt care. Id be all " kill me now " because im somebody in a generic city from the worst game the franchise has ever made. other than ORC

I agree this is garbage just be the title.

They would have to do something really extreme like set up a scenario that we have another " evil " character at play during Re 6 and more was going on than we know with the C virus to make the game actually feel important. Re6 tall oaks is Leon and Helena arrive to rescue the president, hes a zombie they flee and it gets blown up. Thats how important the city is in a main title game. So how important can it be in a spin off?

You're exactly right, Tall Oaks was completely wasted in RE6. The whole game should of been in that city and China should not of been a part of it at all. They wanted a Raccoon clone, so they should of just stuck with it.

They even have "Stagla" gas station in Tall Oaks which was the same one that blows up in RE3.

:exactly::lecture:goodpost:

RE6 should have been Leon and Helena only! It could've been an RE2 copy. Tall Oaks=Raccoon City, Ivy University= RPD. Oh well.... too late for that. :rotfl

And if this rumor is "true", I'll just wait for a port. :wave Not wasting money just for one game. Plus, I'm not a fan of portable devices.

We need a guy in charge of the RE franchise who actually converses with the fans, not just any old **** but a guy who is as passionate about the franchise as the ones who play it.

Go work for Capcom! :wave

Will never happen as long as its under capcom.

I wish. but i dont know how far id go because im really not a yes man. I know what the fans want, i know what capcom think the fans want. I know what the money wants. But we are but a tiny amount of millions who will never be able to catch lightning in a bottle for a 2nd time.

I really, really want to purchase Revelations and support Capcom, but idk...

I'll wait for a price drop. :lol

Exactly Capcom should just let a western developer take a shot at Re cant be any worse then Re6.

They won't. :lol

Cliffy B said he would help them.

Ain't that the truth, I hate western developers taking control of Japanese born franchises but RE as a whole is bleeding out with no signs of stopping.

Got a buddy at work who says the Japanese aren't talented they get lucky im starting to believe it they cant tell a good story.

It seems that most directors in Japan seems to become elitists after a while and just mail it in.

Shinji Mikami definitely knows about the bull**** going on in Capcom and got out early. The fact he **** on RE6 really makes me laugh, since it shows that he's got his head on straight still.

Thats the thing though, Revelations is a really really good game and a horror Resident Evil game. People are trying to spite Capcom over resident evil 6 buy not buying this so its making the situation worse by not supporting this game which is a bigger step towards what we want than resident evil 4.

I'm skeptical that this is legit.

Me to. There was nothing special about tall oaks. Raccoon city had secrets and underground facilities and such but tall oaks was just a town overrun by zombies thrown in to please old school fans.
