Yeah, 0 is annoying due to managing both characters and the lack of item boxes. CV has a lot of bs moments.

though Ryan may have it harder due to his reliance on infinite ammo :lol

It's not my fault they gave away the cheat for no effort in RE2! :lol

It's your fault for having a weak will! :lol
The enemy difficulty in 0 is no different than REmake really. It's just that 0 has too much backtracking.
And the partner AI is just...questionable at times. I had to leave Billy alone once, a zombie popped up and he didn't bother killing it. When he finally contacted me, he was in Danger! The backtracking just gets worse as well, with some of the points of no return.

The partner reactions should of been though out more when they're not being in the same room.

I think Code Veronica has the highest easy-to-die count. But at the same time i think its a super easy game. And the reason its so easy to die, is because your guard is down and you try to use crap ammo and no health on enemies you can afford to use it on because of the " survival " nature of the games. Much like using the pistol all the way until the lab in Remake, despite being armed to the teeth enough to play it 3 times over with the shotgun, magnum and or the grenade launcher.

But i did find Zero to be the most difficult for my first time play through. Not that it had super hard enemies, but i snookered myself at the start of the game on the Train killing every enemy, not knowing that they respawned every time an event happened. So i was really struggling in the UTF

I remember Zero being intimidating when I first played it. I still need a guide whenever I play it.

It really intimidated me too. The backtracking and severe item management, god...then PA told me about the disc swap and what it did and I panicked hard.

Managing both characters varied at times, it was when they were both separated for a long time, and needed stuff I was concerned.

It's probably got the most unnerving tracks of the entire series.

One thing I'll say about Zero... I never feel "safe" playing it, even when armed to the teeth.

Thats one of my favorite musical track in any game. I literally had to press pause, and go make myself a cup of tea to calm down when it first started. I knew i was in for some ****
