I don't know if I'd agree with that 100%, but too much of the films bleed into what they were going for.

A lot of people/fans it's either on their number 1 or 2 of fav RE games. I had a friend who never liked RE and bought 4 and became a fan of series even though he never played the older games which just pissed me off. RE4 brought out the action fans that the series has today.

REmake 3 will happen. It's too married to the events of RE2 for it to not possibly happen.

I can see that. Especially if Capcom plans or rebuilding a new Raccoon City. 3 shouldn't be that difficult... Just expand the city and make it a longer gameplay since 3 isn't a long game.

Yeah, I mean at this point, everyone blames RE4 for what happened but that game tried to be a horror game, and it was. Plus people act like the games were not becoming more action orientated...like, no. get your head out of your ass

I was half and half. I saw the older titles, played them, but I could never actually find them for purchase. 4 was the first I was able to buy, but I Got on the other games reasonably enough.
