yeah they cannot be compared. But Jason movies without Jason have some of the worst everything. really bad actors, no story, etc.

Which might actually mean something if people went to Friday the 13th movies to watch anything but Jason racking up the kills.

no, I don't think so. What is great about the movies is Jason and the kills. That's it.
everything else is a complete crapfest. worst acting of any movie. Really stupid plot (there is no plot actually, at all) same location in every movie. Dull dialog) But Jason is so glorious, so uber brutal that we love the movies. Jason makes the whole thing work. There are countless slasher movies out there from the 80s but nothing comes close to how amazing Jason is.

Everything you say is just....meh. Not even worth it on Christmas.

Saw this movie last night. Was worse than I expected.

It is worst of the 5. Its got some nice eye candy but thats all. It didnt even have a good soundtrack to fall back on which is a shame because i really enjoyed it in the last movie.

Id put the movies as-

Re 2 > Re 1 > re 3/4 > 5

Jason is my favorite slasher. But unlike you I'm not going to be an apologist. Like Nam said and I was trying to say, Jason is the reason to watch the movies and he completely delivers. But the movies are really bad besides Jason.
