I think my favorite part about this game, is how Lovecraftian it all is. I know almost all RE games have a touch of Lovecraft in them. This one however, is filled to the brim with it.

Not to mention that they'll probably bring it to the consoles eventually. I made the mistake of buying another PSP just for Peace Walker, and now I have the PS3 version to play.

Heh, well there was also Portable Ops. I mainly got my PSP for Crisis Core, and I don't regret it!

WOW this game is AMAZING. I bought the 3ds for OOT remake and this hoping i would be happy i didnt make a mistake, well, Im glad to say resident evil is creeping its way back to its roots! that is all I wanted was some creepy stuff back into the mix. I like all of the resident evils, even 5. But I was praying for it to at least show some fans of the older stuff some of its roots. Im not finished yet but from what I have played, I couldnt be happier. Now that the PS vita is coming out, I Really hope they make an original title for that.

You mean port of a 14 year old game. Thats my only gripe with Nintendo, nearly everythings a simple rehash yet its lauded so much.

That's because it holds up perfectly against modern games. Now a new generation can experience and appreciate it. Of which I am all for.

On another note...hell mode is pretty hard...

That's because when something truly unique comes out, no one buys it. It bothers me, but I try to not let it bother me that much. Sometimes I do want to sit down and just play a type of game I love with a new skin.

First boss is pissing me off. Used up every explosive canister, and practically ran out of ammo and he still won't die.

EDIT: Third time's the charm. Didn't realize you could charge melee attacks on here, that made a world of difference.

Glad I NEVER bought a Wii. Hopefully we'll see Revelations too.

Which is lame (that some fans didn't like it), we learned many things behind the scenes such as what Rebecca did after RE0/before RE1, how Ada escaped the city, how Wesker escaped the mansion, and an updated version of "The 4th Survivor." Granted the downfall of Umbrella should've been better in my opinion.

Its the only reason i have ever wanted a Wii! Ive completed 0 and Remake and i will be selling the games and Gamecube back on ebay. Then i was going to buy a Wii for the chronicles and do the same. No need now. I toyed with the idea of a 3ds to play then sell on :-/

I also despised the RE3 portion of Umbrella Chronicles since Capcom was lazy and rehashed the Outbreak levels. Not to mention, Nemesis sounded like a freakin' robot. But hey, at least we finally got HD Carlos for the first time!

I still have my copies of PS1, and Gamecube. I just hate spending money on something that "might" be a future port. Especially buying a handle device. Too risky...
