No plagas to be seen.
Definite buy then, just what I assumed. No zombie types with guns then?
No plagas to be seen.
Its pretty much all monsters from what i can remember. There is bits of the game where you will be none stop firing the shotgun but thats just because you will be getting swamped by creatures
Honestly RE would be better if they got rid of the damn plagas. They were new and exciting in Re4 and cool to see return in 5 but damn give them a rest its not scary anymore.
The enemies in RE5 were a massive fail.. none of them are memorable, if it wasn't fo Wesker and the story that game would be a complete ****
I've just seen a few trailers of this game, I won't waste time thinking if its really scary or not.. honestly is hard for me to get scared at anything at this point but the main enemy of the game looks great, they are like zombies but more creepy
btw, I ended up watching RE 1.5 and 3.5 vids, those were the days..
I wish I could play those games!
I think 1.5 would of been a lot of fun, but it's a absolute travesty that 3.5 never saw the light of day. It's definitely where the series should of gone.
I think 1.5 would have kicked *** .. but I kind of understand why they changed it.
I agree 3.5 looks great but the fog version was way too.. weird. The Hooked man gameplay looks awesome
If 3.5 was made it would of been the king of the horror genre from the looks of it... I guess were stuck with REmake for being the top RE.
I can't understand why people talked about RE4 like if it was the greatest survival horror game ever made, it was a great game but not that great..
Personally, I think RE2 and maybe RE4 are the best
RE4 is a great game, but it just feels so outside the rest of the REverse.

I think we can agree Code Veronica was the conclusion to the main series and since Umbrella is gone, these are all spinoffs.
I agree to n extent but not wholly. I still enjoy the ones that have followed. I will admit that I have lost a little interest in the story since the end of 5 though. From RE1-RE5 is a nice little story package, that I can view as the complete story of RE if I decide I don't like where the series is going.
RE6 did okay to progress the story. At least with Jake and Chris' scenario. Leon is in the exact same place he's been in since RE4, with almot zero character development in 6. Chris/Jake scenarios felt like a continuation of the series where as Leon just felt like a side story...as he has always felt like to me (including his role in RE2)
I can agree nothing really changed with Leon since 4. From RE2-4 he at least stop bellyaching all the time and actually had backbone.
I don't like what they did with Chris, you're middle aged and angry we get it!
Piers was useless.
Jake was the best new character of the series for sure and at least Wesker is still around in spirit
The main series should be looked at in this order.
Zero
REmake
RE2/RE3
CV
RE5
I hope Capcom lays off the numbered titles for RE games for the foreseeable future. Given so much expectations that comes for them. Code Veronica and Revelations are main canon games and they are superior to some of the main titles.
Id also like to see a follow up to Revelations given its Pre RE5 and the Bull**** demise of Wesker hasnt happened yet. Cram in another game with Wesker involved. And at the end of the game have a Clone of Wesker and have that be the one who died. Then make a new good SH RE with Wesker.
Wesker wesker wesker.
I'd say the only thing needed from RE4 is to play Ada's Separate Ways.
