Resin Machanix Punisher

I don’t usually go for customs. I find that there are very often issues that I just can’t get past. Not so with this piece. Only 60 made and there is nothing about it that does not make you think that this could be IS or XM.

Apparently the owner of the short lived Resin Mechanix company was a rip off artist but this piece did get produced and made it to the market.

It’s been around for some time and I’ve always really liked it but I missed the PO and after market prices jumped. I was thinking of getting the Comiquette again (another sale regret) but the price that demands now I thought, “Why the hell wouldn’t I get this?”

This is an impressive piece. 4 switch out arms, 2 heads, and 4 switch out hands with different weapons.

This piece has insane detail. It’s hard to see in the one pic I took but you can actually see the bullets in the gun clips on his belt.

Paint apps could be a little lighter and less glossy but I actually like it as it looks like Frank worked up a sweat.

IMO it’s down to Iron Studios Punisher and this piece as to which is the best Punisher statue out there. I still love the Comiquette and will keep an eye out for a reasonable price but the 1/5 scale always bothered me so it does not rank as high as these two.

Looking good Jaws. Congrats on your score. I haven't traveled down the custom road before. I think most custom pieces look very amateurish. Of course there are always exceptions. That Punisher looks great. I also LOVE the ATF HULK MAQ and Myriad Studios 1/4 classic Captain America statue. I finally broke and POd that Myriad Cap based on Alex Ross's art. It's THE quintessential 1/4 classic Cap I've waited over 15 years for. It's incredibly pricey but I had to have it. It's my 1st custom piece ever.

As for the Punisher, I have and love that sideshow COM. I know it's 1/5 scale, but it's a beastly looking Punisher. I have him displayed next to the OG Deadpool PF. That PF is slightly under scaled so Frank looks really good paired with him.

I agree 100% about most customs. Lots of amateur looking pieces.

This Punisher is not one of them. It’s quality is as good and better than all other statues I have owned. I gotta try and take better pics. This paint apps are not that dark.

I love that Comiquette. I will not be surprised if he makes his way back to my collection. But after the Spidey Comiquette and this Punisher my wallet needs a break. Lol


Interesting that you like that ATF HULK MAQ. Lots of people love it… I don’t get it lol
