I'm the same but opposite

I think that's going to happen to a few folk. I think the Sauron piece is the better value and will become a grail but for me the Rider won't blow up my display's as they are now. The Rider is large but large upwards and not outwards.

....but knowing me I'll probably crumble and get both.

Yeah, I got the e-mail of doom last night as well. Hopefully it's delayed because they don't want to rush perfection.

This kinda sucks because we are moving in the middle of May and I was hoping to get a couple of quality months out of the big guy in my current display.
Oh well, not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. There's definitely bigger issues in life to deal with.

The Dark Rider is #1 on my list of life's slightly less important things though.

Gives the finances a chance to get back into the Black after the Christmas.

Having said that...wouldn't mind a LOTR Maquette announcement soon though.

I've got Sauron flexed so delays don't add much for me other than no payment that month. Plus his is only $90 so its not that high to be honest. Well, not as high as the $144 for the RWOS PF.

I haven't jumped on the bandwagon yet. I'm not ordering Sauron until after we've moved so I'll have to see if there's any flex available at that point. If not, then I have to decide (which to get first) between Sauron and Barad-Dur based on stock levels.

As per my monicker, I'm obligated to buy the Dark Rider first.

I was on the fence regarding Sauron and wanted to see in hand pics first, but the whole piece has really grown on me. I no longer mind the glow effects as long as they don't come out looking like a hack job. My main issue was not wanting to have overlapping payments. I already have The Dark Rider & TWK on flex and didn't want to deal with Sauron at the same time.

Well, I don't expect he will ship until probably August to be honest. So I'd say you got time to get it flexing now and not have it arrive until then. If you're leaning strongly towards getting it. Then that might allow for both.
