Yeah, it is expensive - but is it really more than anyone expected it to be?
Unfortunately once an item hits a certain price, it's only gonna appeal to hard-core fans for the most part.
This is the one piece that I have been wanting since the LOTR PF line started, so for me there was never any hesitation or regret.

In addition to price, I'm sure many people still aren't sold on the pose and overall look. I wasn't originally, but the Comic Con pictures swayed me.

The other thing that kinda worries me is how the paint application of the blood from the wounds on the horse is going to look on the production piece. Hopefully it's subtle, not overpowering.

The problem is FLEX doesn't make the product cheaper, it's just to help people that can't save/manage the funds themselves.

I haven't ordered yet due to the post above with so much stuff coming out at the same time. It's just about timing so far. I'm getting it eventually though.

I was hoping that FLEX'ing it would make it look like the payments aren't shocking when the wife looks at the bill. Unfortunately she's caught on because all these little bills from all the stuff I've FLEX'd works out to be the cost of a PF a month!!!

That's actually the reason I don't flex pay. My wife would get annoyed seeing monthly charges. Its easier to just take the hit every few months. More under the radar
