I'd agree with that. I've owned a lot of pieces from Middle-earth and from this seat all I can say is its worth the money.

I love the similar debates about whether Hot Toys are toys because they are pose-able, and therefore not art as opposed to something like a hunk of resin which ironically now often has some plastic parts (weapons). To me its all mass produced collectible, hollow, solid, or not. All of this has a near term shelf life expiration of "who gives a crap." Afford, it, buy it, enjoy it, sell it - rinse, wash, repeat. This is the life/mind of a collector.

They usually die out after people got their item and posted pics...

I'm gonna be so late to the game by the time I post pics. :lol

You don't have Dark Rider yet?

No, I've got him. I just don't have the room to take him out of the box yet and display him.

You and me both. I'm hoping to finally bring mine home this week and set him up this weekend.:lol

I might have to get him out just to take pictures. I really want to see it in my collection instead of the box. :lol

Otherwise it would be a collection of boxes right? :wink1:

I feel the same with some of mine. Although rotating my stuff has worked out pretty well. I know what I like and what I can give up after X amount of time. But I love this and will be buried with it. :lol

I actually took a picture of all the boxes I had at one time. :lol I think I still have it. :lol

I have a great collection of boxes myself. :monkey3

I laughed.

And then I thought about the storage unit I pay rent on every month that's stuffed to the gills with empty boxes.

Then I cried a little.

Re: Ringwraith on Steed PF..Link to buy in 1st Post.

I bought a 10X12 shed just for boxes.

Garage is 2/3 full of boxes.

Basement laundry room is 3/4 full of boxes.

The box nightmare continues.

I would have so much room now that I think about it if I threw out boxes.

If I ever win big in the lottery, the boxes are going.
