Mine came this afternoon. Put it togther at lunch but I'm not happy with the way it looks. The pocket the head thing goes in hangs down and looks ****ty. I'll have to spend more time messing with it when I get home tonight. Once I get the robe straightened out it should look killer. I'm thinking about just using the reagular hand not sure I like the Ex version. I'll try and take some pic's tonight.

It definitely requires a lot of fussing with,but believe me it'll be worth it in the end!!

Congrats on the big guy's arrival.
In regards to the hood, try not using the pocket - just lay the hood over the support. I tried the pocket at first and thought it looked too puffy. Just laying it over looked perfect right away and it's not like it's going to get moved around a lot anyway, so it should be fine.

No problem! It takes a little work to get the DROM just right, but it's definitely worth it.

Yep, it does take some work and some steaming and/or ironing to get this bad-boy to look good...but so worth it.

Agreed. I did the same thing. I used the pocket at first, and also didn't love the way his "face" area looked, so I switched to just laying the hood over the metal head of the statue and now he looks much better.
Before, you could see the fabric when using the pocket, so it just looked like fabric. If you don't use it, then there's just a dark space (instead of seeing fabric) and he looks MUCH closer to the movie.
Also, if you steam out all the wrinkles of the fabric, that will help tremendously too.

I went home and just layed the hood over the head and it looks great! After messing with the robe off and on for a few more hr's friday night I got him looking pretty darn good. I must say I really love this piece now.Thanks for the tips guys they really helped! Went with the reg hand. #377/500

I am so close to pulling the trigger on this one. It was in the newsletter as low quantity a couple months ago. Anyone think this is a fake sell out, or is it time to jump on it?

I do know it's a piece I wouldn't want to gamble on. It's not like the online retailer & e-bay prices are instantly gonna skyrocket the second it sells out on SSC, but if being able to flex it is important, then yeah I'd probably think about pulling the trigger soon.
So I take it SSC is not playing games with the "Last Chance to Own."
