I have to say that sideshow and their customer service is excellent!! Since I won the Dark rider of mordor pf they allowed me to cancel my order since i don't really need 2 of them. The refunded my deposit and reinstated all the reward points I had used...

Can i know how you won that rwos? Did i miss a contest?

As far as me, I'm not interested in what it's worth or getting the EX because it's worth more.

My goal is to keep the statue, not sell it to make a profit anyway.

So, I can wait and check out online retailers and probably save a bit of money. It's already 30 bucks cheaper elsewhere.

I don't need the EX either, I think I prefer it with just the creepy pointing hand.

EDIT - OK, I caved and went ahead and ordered it from BBTS! LOL BUT, only because it's cheaper, AND there was no deposit required. AND, you can cancel your order anytime, before it ships with out a FEE.
SO this locks me in at least and if I change my mind, I can get out of it.
Again, was not interested in the EX anyway.

I hope it was a lot less expensive because you're gonna get bent over in shipping for that huge box, and the brokerage since I beleive they use UPS. I only bought one thing from them and it was the Conan PF. It cost an arm and a leg to get it over here from them, so never again.

I had Gandalf the Grey on my sub to begin it looked good but I took it off as it kept moving I will now put Gandalf near the dark rider can't wait.

I think I'm going to wait until it sells out then waitlist it so I can cancel without a penalty if I have to. Can't swing the NRD at the moment.

Well, I choose the option that covers the brokerage as well. Since you're going to get hit at customs anyway. With this, you at least know up front, most of the additional charges.
They will even tell you I will still have to pay 5 bucks at the door, and PST tax too.

The shipping for Conan PF EX was $90 This box should be huge, so how much shipping did they charge you ?

Well, cracked down and ordered the EX. Been trying to only do 1/1 LotR pieces, but considering I will NEVER have a 1/1 steed, I figure this is ok.

Now the long wait, I'm guessing a February-ish release. As Sideshow has difficulties with Dec releases...

Well SS would be foolish to think most ppl can afford this around Xmas . I'm so close to ordering this, just need to hope I can make a sale .

I asked and they told me the flat shipping rate with Fedex to Canada for all boxes (any weight, any size) is $25.

But then Fedex charges HST on top of that.

Yeah, I have a full 1/1 Ringwraith, as well as several helms (Sauron, WitchKing, Berserker), Gauntlet of Sauron, numerous swords, Shards of Narsil, MR One ring, amongst others. I think the only small scale piece I have left is Saurons Mace (which I've converted its base to actually light up)... that is until I make a 1/1 mace...

Be careful, they usually follow this, but my tiki sally figure was 42$ and it was a tiny box. I find they follow the 25$ about 90% of the time, but that other 10% always ends up a surprise on something I never expected it on.

that being said, I'm still waiting for the 360 before I commit to this piece. I like it, but I can't say I'm blown away yet, like i was with gollum and Gandalf.

Does seem a little odd they wouldnt release a 360 on this considering the price...and considering that the pics really do not show all the angles.
